Maybe just maybe port power is ready for the taking. They have a couple of injury worries and they are travelling for the second week in a row.and they have not been playing all that well.
I am not saying that we are certainties but we could be in with a big chance.I know we tend to run teams into form but maybe all that will change this week.We played pretty well last week and if we can carry that form into Sundays game who knows.
BE AT THE RALLY AND BE AT THE GAME AND ABOVE ALL BE PROUD AND LOUD.
Who will you play up forward though:
Modra - injury concerns and recovering from the flu
Waterhouse - injured for 5 weeks or something
Schell - injured, wont play
Pavlich - injured at training, doubts over whether he will play
Koops - still injured or are they going to rush him back expecting miracles?
All your forwards are injured so you may beat them all over ground but won't be able to kick a winning score.
Vis
Longmuir & Bandy spring to mind re kicking goals, Modra has to play or we will have difficulty kicking a winning score.
Im quietly confident that this is the week.

as a port supporter this is one of the only times in the last 4 years that i will say i am not confident about our chances this week. If i was a betting man i would put $20 on Fremantle. I bloody well hope im wrong tho

Macca, I bloody well hope you're right.
Having Pavlich out has stuffed my confidence a bit though. I had this Sunday pegged as Freos best chance for weeks, I'll still be there though, heres hoping.

Perhaps this could become Buzz Fewster's long overdue moment in the spotlight....
I am tipping them- Dockers that is.
C'mon Freo this is your chance for your 1st win this season. As a Port supporter if you can't beat us on our current form you shouldn't be in the comp.

Im not confident because Freo I admit it are a 2 player team.
When Micheal and Waterhouse arnt in the side we dont win.
On top of that we are lacking Pavlich,Schell, Koops and maybe modra.
You take out a sides 5 top forwards and they are always going to struggle to kick goals.
Make no mistake we will kill you around the ground, but we wont kick the required goals.

You are right. Take out a sides top 5 forwards and you do struggle to kick goals.
We had Primus, Francou, Kingsley, Lade, French, Ackland, Bond, Wilson out. Thats the best ruckmen in the league, one of the top 10 midfielders in the league, one of the top 10 small defenders in the league, plus ALL of our ruckmen, plus our second best small defender. You shouldnt win with that much out.
kill us around the ground?? bwahahahahaha. Thats just crap Sabre. Port has one of the best midfields in the competition and they absolutly carved you up today. Dew, Francis, Wanganeen, Carr, James and Schofield dominated. The fact that we had 25 MORE inside 50s than you showed we carved you up today in the midfield.

What the hell was I thinking when I made the original post here.
What a pathetic bunch of crap we have as a team.
I got P#$sed on at the rally an SHAT on by my team.Did I have a good day yesterday????Yeah right in your dreams.
It was a real nightmare.
And Sabre if you dare to defend them again I will scream.
Lets face it Michael will not play again this year and can not be used as an excuse to our poor showings this year.

AAAAAAARRGGGGHHHH
Its taken me till Tuesday to get over the pathetic excuse for a game I saw on Sunday. In fact, game is not the right word - lets call it an opposition training drill.
Have you ever known a team to so consistently fail your expectations. They give us nothing man, anytime you get the idea that they have a chance they throw it away.
I can't keep this up - maybe I'll just attend the home games and otherwise forget the footy and watch the cricket or sheep dog trials.
