Both playing well. I think Guerra has about 29 goals 4 or something like that.
I'd take him for the way he has played this year.

Guerra is a forward.
Guerra is tough at the ball
Guerra is tough at the man
Totally different type of players :D :D

Guerra better kick for goal hits the man harder and kicks more goals.
Chapman is probably slightly more capable of playing in the midfeild though.

yeah guerra has no form in the midfield, while chapman is one of the cats better midfielders.
that said, with, ball, harvey, thompson, lenny, dal, black, etc no room for guerra:D
Guerra is 21, I wish however he'd tackle more often.
I reckon bumps have only a 10 to 20% chance of turning the ball over, a good tackle is close to 50%.
lenny and luke ball are far more effective than guerra in getting ball.
the sooner he learns to tackle the better he will be.
BTW milne is better than both of them!

Guerra, because I see him as having a bit more versatility in the midfield and on the wings. Chapman doesn't venture downfield as much as Guerra does, and Guerra does a good job at it, too.

Guerra - 78 matches, 67 goals, 8.3 avg possessions.
Chapman - 68 matches, 71 goals, 14.1 avg possessions.
the winner is chapman - more goals + possessions in less matches.

Most of those matches were with a club that played him off the bench.
A fair comparision would be this season for goals
Guerra 29.4
What is Chapmans this season?

The reason why Guerra left Port Adelaide was because he was always starting on the bench and he was looking for more opportunities.
He's been given that opportunity this season and results speak for themselves.
Port supporters have admitted on here that they were disappointed to lose him and wished that Mark Williams had given him more game time.

Yes you can. of course you can. See above post.
Also Guerra has played as a small forward so his posessions would not be as great as Chapmans who plays predominately
in the midfield

Who does? Name one shot Guerra has gotten off this season that wasn't face to face. Not like headbutts, throatpunches, knees, and charges like Geelong do when the oppositions back is turned.

Guerra has kicked more goals in 4 fewer games this year! Therefore his strike rate is superior.
He is also better because he hasn't got a big mouth!

All this poll proves is there are more Geelong supporters posting here than St Kilda ones.
Yet to hear very many neutral voices, it is mostly Geelong ones.
You can rate Chapman and his big mouth higher if you like, but he came out with egg all over his face when he said how much better than my team Geelong were, just days before we gave them a 10 goal thumping.
Have Chapman if you like him that much, St Kilda is very happy with Mini G, thank you very much.

How over the last three years Chapman has played consistently good footy, therefore has been far more valuable to the team. Chappy win hands down.

You guys have too be :D:D:D:Ded in the head or something! Do you see Paul Chapman no longer required at a club i don't think so, only room for Milne in st.kilda and champan is a much better player than his as well. The reason why Guerra has been so effective this year is because he generally doesn't have a man and plays as a spare man in the backline. Not only does he not have an opponeent half the time, he doesn't have people tagging him like Chapman does. How was Guerra as a small forward getting that type of attention, hmmm let me very inconsisent and as a result spent time in the VFL. Doesnt have the ability too go into the midfield either.... the one thing he has over Chapman is a bump.
