View Full Version : Why do the Bulldogs always lose the games they have to win?
These team pisses me off alot.
But as a true and passionate fan, I admire them and could never leave the club.
However at times they just piss me off and I get upset for a week.
We gotta beat Fremantle next week LOL.
It is a must win game, and if we dont be them Dockers we dont deserve to make the finals!
It was a shocking performance from the Bulldogs yesterday nite, and the thing that hurt us bad was Rohan Smiths Injury?
Did anyone catch a glimpse of it to see how bad it actually was?
Smith had played over 200 consecutive games and it all stops here.
We will certainly miss him heaps!
Well done Smithy cya for the first week of the Finals!
(I hope)
Pleaseeee God please!!!!!!!!!!!
Just 1 Grand Final apperance please!!!!!!!!
We gotta beat Fremantle next week LOL
Mate i wouldnt get my hopes up yet :(

No. Because CS decided instead of showing us again on the scoreboard they showed all their sponsors.
These team pisses me off alot.
Yeah me 2, but what pissed me off more was rusty banging 6 in the first half, who wouldve thought.
What makes things worse is the Doggies starting the game HOT!
They kicked 2 goals from Ellis and Grant and I thoguth we were a chance.
But yet again I was wrong, what do you get when your playing a team with sharp skills, fast ball movement, and skillful players. Vs an UP and DOWN side who only play good when they wanna play good!
You get a demolition.
It was a 1 sided game last nite, and for this to happen two weeks in a row, is a worrying sign.
I hope we beat Fremantle next week, I can only hope!
Im gonna put $10 on Fremantle to beat us because it will pay good!
If we dont beat Fremantle, I will ask the question?
Are we good enough to win another game for the year?
Well we'll see how things go in the next 2 weeks.
If we're 9-7 Ill be happy and start thinking about the finals!
If we're 8-8 I'll be saying we have to win 2 out of the next 3 games to have any chance of making the finals.
If we're 7-9 Im gonna write a letter to the Western Bulldogs and tell them... This is why we dont have the number of members that yas all want!
I get pissed off more with this team, than what I do get excited.
There have only been about 10 times I've been happy about the Bulldogs.
3 of them 10 were last year when we beat Essendon, Carlton and Kangaroos.
in 1999 I was happy when we came from behind to beat Sydney.
Came from Behind to beat Adelaide.
In 1998 I was happy when we won our 1st 4 games.
but that year also pissed me off the most, because we were the best team that year and couldnt even come close of making the grand final.
1997, I dont realy wanna mension, because there was only 1 good thing about that year!
Beating Westcoast in Roudn 6 at the WACA.
HOW ABOUT EVERYONE ELSE? DO YOU GET MORE PISSED OFF WITH THIS TEAM, OR MAINLY EXCITED WITH THIS OUTFIT?
i get more excited then pissed off but lately its been the oppposite, we have been destroyed the last 2 weeks by 61 and 78 and what do our supporters have 2 yell about, NOTHING.
One home game win is not good enough and if u want to attract members shouldnt u put on a good show. We havent done that losing by 10goals to the pies (10 goal 3rd qtr), losing to the roos by 40odd, losing to the Hawks by 29 after being 49pts down and losing to the bombers by 78 just isnt good enough.
Im alot younger then most of the dogs supporters on this doggie post so i havent had to live as long and through as much devastation and heartbreak but ive had my fair share and i find it hard to understand Why this year we can be so good then so bad.
I get excited mostly but so do most new generation doggies.

What a disappointment! I lost the audio from the ABC right after we scored our first two goals and by the time I gave up trying to get it again, we were three goals behind. Again I had to be content with just a changing scoreboard to watch. I gave up at about 6.45am and went back to sleep. It really ruined my Saturday getting up at 4.30am and then going back to sleep later, especially with such a poor performance from the team. At least now I know I won't be spending a few thousand to fly to Melbourne for the Finals.
Thank God for the Cubs - at least they're not letting me down - well, at least not yet!

What ticks me off is that, on current form, we deserve to get a really good draft pick! But if Freo, West Coast and St Kilda don't win 5 games each, they will all receive priority draft picks (ie. 2 each at the beginning of the first round). We could finish 10th and only pick up draft pick no.10. But we're used to being ripped off. At the end of '96, we'd finished last considering the Brisbane-Fitzroy merger. Roll on draft pick NO. 7!!!!!!!! That was the year that Port Adelaide entered the comp., and scooped up the first picks (Freo might have got a couple before us too, it's all a haze)
And I live for the day that we actually pick up a good , 'name' player in a trade, because we need one or two. North gets them (eg. Grant, Colbert), St.Kilda gets them (Hamill), in fact, everyone else gets them except us.
But the youngsters do give us hope. There are some good ones there, plenty of skill. It's just that they are all built like anorexic praying mantises, and get shunted off the ball by robust types such as Voss and Buckley.
Here's to the Western Bulldogs Stocktake Sale at the end of the season. It'll be bigger than Forges of Footscray. Craig Ellises half price. Trent Bartletts up to seventy-five per cent off. A free Jose Romero with every two players purchased. Stocks won't last.

WWB-Shannon Grant would have been a bulldog, he was all ready to sign until Libba said in the paper in January '97 that he still hadn't been payed for the previous season and Grant lost interest and signed with North instead. We ended up with Huddo.
I think that Eagleton should qualify as a big name recruit. The club worked hard to convince him and gave away quality players to secure him. He'll come good.

Yeah i think he will to, In the ressies he played totally different to what he ahd been playing for the doggies he was in and under and was in the he dons players face. I wouldnt mind him coming back this week if he has that same attitude.
