Good on him, we know his family and they are wrapped at the news. Having seen him in action many times, I reckon he's here to stay too.

One of the things we've really missed has been a true crumbing forward - NLM and Cupes are more like leading forwards, and Lovett will fill that gap nicely.
The Essendon pace issue is going to be nothing more than a distant memory very very soon.

Good point.
Interesting move, i wonder if they seriously consider he may have an impact this season ?
I can't remember him being in the best often for bendigo, but people generally seem to speak of him quite highly.

Burst player, apparently - every now and then he looks awesome, but goes missing a lot.
I can't see him breaking into the side this season - with Dyson and Winderlich hammering on the selection committee's door, anyway.
Still, he's another option, and may be a good one - but I'd see the elevation more as a message to him that he's going the right way and that the club values him as a player.
