Like our noble leader Porthos says, 'Who cares'. Doesn't matter what we say the players will play however they want. But seriously it is a memorable time of the year, hopefully for good reasons.

Yours in body part crossing

Myself, I can't wait.

Well today I booked and paid for AGAIN.....our flights back for a Home Prelim and then hopefully on to the big one.

This year, I havnt booked the train for the G for the last weekend in sept.....just waiting....BUT for the 4th time now, me and my daughter Hayley are coming back!!

I cant wait.....But at the same time the wait is killing me. I feel physically sick from it!!!

I am hoping for a home prelim then on to the G the following weekend. But if we have to play the prelim at the G, we will be on the bus, blurry eyed again for the match!!

Come on Boys.....Please, Please dont let me down again. Lets give all them something to choke on this year!!

My pride, money and hoilday time is behind ya.......AGAIN!!!

One Team, One Love.......Port Adelaide!!!

how quick this year has gone, I'm looking forward to the next 3 games as well as finals. Also hoping to catch more live games next season.

I believe this year has been a top year for the team. New things learnt, and players taking a step up.

On towards the final, hopefully improving this season round. Mostly with a few "grand final" clubs not doing that top this season.

This year has definately gone very very quickly.

These next 3 games our vital. Playing Collingwood and Adelaide in our last 2 games is a bummer....both teams would love to screw up our finals chances.

Then....its time we stand up and put away our chances this year.

Was having a discussion the other day about this. We wondered whether this year would be any different with the Crows out of the finals. Other years the Crows have been in as well and all the media hype in SA has been about an all SA grand final.

This year the SA media will only have Power to write about.

By the way, I will be out of action here for a week or so. Moving out of the parents' house into an apartment. Should have broadband back soon enough.

I think thats how we all feel.....I know I do!! I was devestated after last year's Prelim final.....tears wouldnt stop as I had to walk out the G - My daughter going mum please dont let them see you cry. Sitting on the bus on the way back to SA was the worst trip in my life. I remember being in the truck stop on one of our stops on the way home and all of us so livid, angry and hurt! I said....never again, never again....but I renewed my membership when it come in, have already made a trip back in Round 6 and now just ready and waiting........PRAYING AND HOPING for things to go right for us!! Win the first final!!

Will the monkey be lifted? We know how good a football we can play, we need to do it now in Sept?

Quiet until we make it.......but when we do......Watch out, because no one.....NO ONE will hear the end of it from me ;) I have some serious paybacks to deal out, and the wait is killing me!!

Lets just say that the whole of Perth will hear me if things happen the right way this year ;)

I might even make my own Thunda Power costume and go skating through the malls of Perth, just to rub it in.......whoa, getting ahead of myself....

KG and Corne's Crows Show will still only go on about the Crows!

Rucci will continue talking up Craig, will say something positive about Port and then be paid out for favouring Port.

Same old, same old, but that's OK because it keeps the pressure off us. Compare our change of CEO / coach compared to the Crows.

I'm really looking forward to it. You can smell spring in the air today (partly cos of the crowies direct line to the weather gods - does it ever rain on them?). I have a real feeling of anticipation. The side seems tougher, more professional, more ready to me. We had a lot of wins last year, but there was an underlying fragility that doesn't seem to be there this year.

Yes, the side does seem tougher, but I saw some fragility last night, particularly in the first quarter. There is a certain player who has been hearing the oppositions footsteps too loudly over the last three weeks, same as at this time last year.

Come on , name names ...

I didn't see fragility last night - not in a team sense - maybe a lack of concentration/application during the latter part of the first qtr.

Schofield - fumbling, lacking the positiveness of earlier in the year.

My big bugbear with losing the previous finals isn't the losing, its the manner of the losing. A general afraid to take risks, over-caution, lack of proactivity, unwillingness to put in and back up your team-mates. I saw it last night in the first quarter and got worried. Is it a reflection of Choco's nature?, as much as I think he is doing a great job. Pleased to see he was able to turn it around in the second quarter.

What I really wanted to see, and now especially against Adelaide next game, is the coach coaching and the players playing the way they should play in the finals. This cuteness and concern with negative things becomes a habit and carries on into the first final, and is compounded by the pressures of the event.

Lets see some momentum carried into the first final.

Let's get some respect!

Schofield - fumbling, lacking the positiveness of earlier in the year.

I'd agree with that. Does Schofield have some problem kicking it when in defense as well ? Especially more then 15 metres ? He was the worst offender by far last night in going the unnecessary handball instead of just kicking the ball. He gets enough of the ball, but as far as effectiveness under pressure goes, he is the weakest link in our midfield (other then Cochrane who is just uneffective full stop whether under pressure or not).

I was pretty impressed with the way we turned things around after the end of the 1st quarter.

Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.

Hu  ....Well I reckon it was a good win, on a Ground we need to win on!! 2nd quarter was Unreal. Despite what or who we think should play, who stuffs up, who shouldnt play

Choco really seems to have his $hit together this year. I couldnt be more impressed with every aspect he has taken......I might not like or agree with some of the drops or non - drops.....But hell, you just cant not question this man, who has taken an injury riddle team to such heights. September is now his next biggest hurdle....And lets hope he can clear them all. I am behind him, the coaching panel and the 22 players HE names week in....Lets get down to business now Choco and boys.......Give them all something choke on, I'am behind you all 110%!!!

My best trick is ticking off opposition fans by shouting `Nice mark Tredrea' before he marks.

I'm fairly confident that I'll be able to wangle a GF ticket by means foul or fair.

Put me down as a member of the 'white line' club - when the players cross that white line my behaviour changes completely. I almost gave my wife a heart attack the first time I took her to the footy. Turned from a quiet reserved, even shy guy into this feral lunatic swearing at umpires and opposition players at full voice. :D

I'm a bit the same. However, when atteding here (in Vic) I tend to be a bit more reserved as I don't usually have any back up. The one time that a group of my Port supporting mates congregated in Melbourne we went off, copping abuse and dishing it out. A bit of support makes a hell of a difference.

At away games I actually prefer being away from the other Port fans as you can stick it right up 100% of the people around you.
