Crawf is a loser and is over the hill. We don't need him. He's too old and injury prone, and besides he's an actor not a footy player! Also there'd be too many onfield conflicts between him and Fev for being the biggest poseurs and they'll be having too many hissy-fits instead of helping to win games.

Crawf is a loser
232 games, Hawthorn captain for 6 seasons, 4 times club champion, 4 times All-Australian, Brownlow Medal, Australian International Rules captain.
Yeah, that's a loser alright ... not a winner like you.

The only loser is Hawthorn, who has him as captain for 6 seasons, now THAT's gotta hurt

man show some respect!!!!
he's a superstar of our game ... while i go follow the blues, i have the upmost respect for him ... i'd love to have him down at carlton, but he's too old now, it wouldnt be worth it.
BTW: uve showed ur true colours for what u really are!!!

I agree with everything that you said. He is a superstar and I can't see him being traded. He more or less is Hawthorn at the moment and it would be very bad PR to trade him. Plus he is old and we wouldn't get anywhere near what we would expect to get for him from anyone.

Couple of points
Crawf is a Hawk through and through - he bleeds brown and gold
Denis Pagan and Ian Collins would not allow Crawf the luxury of his Hank Bulger antics as well as other commitments off the field
As far as I can see, Crawf will go at the end of the 2006 (contract ends)
As far as Crawford being a loser, a detriment to the Hawthorn Footy Club, well that is pure, unadulterated CRAP.
He has 39 other players on that list that have been a part of the 2004 shambles. Perhaps other males hate him for his metrosexuality.
He is an extrovert - but NO ONE CAN EVER QUESTION HIS COMMITMENT TO HAWTHORN
the whole thing doesn't make any sense to me
why would he leave? he's contracted, new coach, been at the club all his career.
why would Carlton want him? sure, he's a brilliant player, but he's 30 next month, you would have thought there would be more long term alternatives around.
don't get me wrong, i'd cream if we got him, but the possibility is nil. i rekon all this talk is what made the Hawks "chase" Pagan, a bit of, if you're going to sniff around, we'll sniff back. in the end the media is all that wins.

I agree, he's a champion footballer, but not a champion captain. Leadership? What leadership? Hawthorn would be better without him as captain. 6 years is way too long
And also, he won't go to Carlton, no way.
