Thankyou Graham Cornes, agreed with by Neil Kerley and no qualms from KG.
This is what everyone else knows but you people and the 2-team man Dyertribe can't seem to fathom this concept and are blind by your ridiculous bias.

The quicker you people develop your own helathy set of eyes the better.

Cheers and thats all that needs to be said on the issue.

With regards the man who is never wrong

No arguments here.

Buts its just a shame that his own supporters can't come to the relisation that he's more of a FF than CHF.

Apollo Always Right signing off.

No such position as CHF or FF at Port. Tredrea plays the 'Carey' position, however you'd like to dub it... White plays the 'Chad Cornes pre-2004' position.

When Carey was Tredrea's age I think you'll find he played much further up the ground than Warren. When restrictions started to present themselves in Carey's game because of the physical deficiencies he'd picked up playing the proper CHF, he then moved close to the goalsquare.

But I do seem to have found a Port Adelaide supporter with a healthy, actively working brain akin to striking gold in a packet of two minute noodles.

Tredrea was origionally pencilled in as a ff and Lockwood was to be our chf unfortunately after Lockwoods back injury (trying to lift to many weights in the gym) he was never able to fulfil his potential. Tredrea was slightly less mobile but with a more solid build and far less accurate(in the early days) than Lockwood which explains why he was thought of that way. Tredrea once said that he admired Carey and was attempting to play that sort of ff/chf position which he has obviously achieved, he also went on to say he hoped he could be half the player of Wayne Carey and he'd be doing well. Personally I think he will be a better player than Carey, Tredders trains harder shows far more moral fibre (which wouldn't be hard) and plays for port! ;)
It's just a shame we didn't get to see more of Lockwood, I still remember his stats from one of the early showdowns: 4 marks, 4 kicks, 4 goals and not even as the main forward.

Agreed. Wish his back held off a few more years to see him and tredrea play as a forward team. :)

Now now, as if you could keep such drivel to yourself in future.

Stocks in your credibility are dropping quicker than Enron or HIH - you should kick your own arse for using KG's (of all people!) opinion as if it was gospel.

Trolling on a team board is pretty soft for someone who rates themselves.

Tredders kicks goals and by the rating system used by the AFL for players in certain poistions he is the leading candidate for CHF of the 2000's.

Keep in the insults to a minimum and you might just get a decent chat about footy. If not run along out to the Main Board where your views are more welcome.

I reckon when Carey was Warren's age he was already playing inside Pagan's paddock. The debilitating injuries started to hit him more after the 1996 premiership IIRC ... didn't he dislocate his shoulder at the start of the 1997 season?

Warren plays that Hall role of between FF and CHF, so he isn't a true CHF but he still does present upfield a bit. But yeah, I'd say he's closer to goals more often than not.

If we lose without Warren the next week or two, there will be one positive:

People will actually realise how important he is to our side.

I am sick of those tables showing the reliance of Brisbane on J. Brown and the Kangaroos on W. Carey.

It says as much about those teams' inability to cover certain players, when they are absent, than it does about the individual CHF concerned.

The fact that last year Cornesy covered for Tredders during a couple of those early games (and we won), does not make Warren any less of a player than Brown or Carey. It means that we are better at dealing with injuries. A fact supported by minor round results over the last two years.

Seemingly a position in the All Australian team they've given to a FF for the last three years.

Question - Whats a choker?

It's what you get when you cross a very large single piece of rock with a sluggish animal native to central America. This results in a enormous lump of rock which is very slow moving as opposed to a MONOLITH which doesn't actually move at all.

Season so far;
