Again the Roys started well early with Fat Pizza dominating in the Ruck, but the Razors were going to ensure the Roys didnt get an easy game. With even contributions through the Midfield the Roys managed to hold sway by 10pts at the main break.
In a strange move however, Fat Pizza was taken from the Ruck and placed down in defence which seemed to unsettle the Roys and the Razors stole back the lead late in third quarter setting up for a thrilling last quarter.
It was in the last quarter when the Roys forward line stepped up a gear when the pressure was on. Midway through the final term it looked as though the Razors would snatch victory when they lead by 9pts however Yippyio and Roylion dominated the final 10 minutes ensuring the Roys got over the line.
Yippyio took 10 marks and booted 6 goals in a best on ground display. Roylion was important for the Roys with 7 marks, as were Gregtri and Adey through the midfield and the Kiss of Death FattyLumpkin tried hard after going into the Ruck for the Second Half.
Paul D again continued his love affair with the umpires, as he received 5 free kicks in defence.
