Not much tape on the shoulder either.
Yes, he seemed to move quite freely on some footage shown on TV, even lifted the arms to mark above his eyeline.
The games people play?

I guess there's a difference between using your bruised shoulder in training, and having Simon Prestigiacomo hanging off it for two hours.
Someone should tell Tredrea to tape both shoulders so as to increase Carey comparisons. :D

Are you sure he would have Simon Prestigiacomo hanging off his shoulder?

The worst it will be is James Clement hanging off his shoulder. Tredders should be able to cope with that, no matter how highly rated Clement is.
The Prest is injured, disclocated shoulder I think.

"At training at Alberton Oval on Wednesday night I felt really confident, the shoulder seems really good and I’d say it even exceeded my expectations.
I tried a number of things – pushing off, overhead marking, contested marking and it responded well.
The decision now rests with coach and doctors and I should know Thursday."

So will Carry get revenge for the "jaw incident"??

i wouldn't risk him.
for some reason i would rather him rest a match and us struggle then struggle in the finals.

He can't afford to, but I've always thought that was never the innocent accident it was portrayed to be. (*edit* I meant Carry not Tredders in case anyone's wondering).

is your shoulder still sore? ;) :p
With Collingwood's defense missing Wakelin and Prestigiacomo our forward line minus Tredrea should still be able to account for the Pies. If they can't get past a Pies lineup minus their two key defenders and most important forward (Rocca) at the MCG tomorrow night then we aren't going to beat Brisbane there.

Give Tredders a break, let the young lads show us what theyre made of.. (White and Thurstands)...

Should be rested, not least of which because it will enable us to get a better idea of where the younger guys stand.

I agree-it wasn't an "accident". Just..... you know Josh.........I hope he's learned his lesson and puts his revenge on the scoreboard instead of in the umps little black book.

He's one up on the 2001-04 model of the wayne then.
If the pain isn't going to get any worse and he can't get any further damage to the AC joint he should play. Good teams have their leaders play through injury not rest him them up for the finals. Let him play the decoy if we must but for mine he stays in the team.

If Tredrea plays and Brogan comes in I think we all know who's in big trouble to make way. There's the wrong way and the White way ...

White out again???????
The young lad can't be happy. Send him to us.
BTW, Tredrea shouldn't play. Its just not worth it.
Save him for next week.

I would like to point out that Choco has taken my midget forward line suggestion on board, and I am not happy about it.
Oh, and it looks like Prestigiacomo is back in to the Collingwood side to grope Tredders all night.
ALL IS WELL.

Even if it is only mind games, why do we have to play them. We are supposed to be the hunted, not the hunter. We have absolutely nothing to gain from them.

Utterly predictable and totally indefensible (and no I'm not even going to try this time). I cannot understand how Cochrane keeps White out ... consider me on the bandwagon!
BTW good get with Presti Porthos ... who are your contacts? ;)
I see J Cloke is back as well. Seems Collingwoods players' ability to rise Lazarus like from mortal wounding is underestimated ...

No Cochrane is our CHB when Buckley moves to CHF. Worked a treat last year in the Prelim.
If we get beaten tomorrow, if our forwards look weak against Collingwood's defence and if Cochrane gets his average of 11 disposals,
will Damon be selected the following week?
NO.
Cochrane is the first player selected every week.
It is official, his form has no bearing on whether he maintains his place in this side.
Cochrane - the most underperforming player getting a regular game in a top4 side in the history of Australian footy.
When the B&F votes are revealed at the end of the year, the first thing I will do is to see how many he scored and in what games. It will make for fascinating reading.

Considering Choco awards votes, I expect Cochrane to win the B&F. This sucks!

How can you be so mean about the Roach? He's a really good bloke, and thats why he gets selected.

Choco said on The Footy Show last night that he gave Dew votes last week so it was a tough decision. Appears that has become the kiss of death at Port now. Cochrane probably doesn't have any votes!
Maybe Damon's dehydrated from Darwin ... ok, I know, grasping at straws ... ;)
