Great effort today - brilliant 4 1/4 determination.
Some obviously great signs.......

A dominant & skillful KOUTA (apologies to Kouta, I didnt think he could play at that level again - & It would appear he will only get better with a full pre season).
Bentick - has looked very good & hard at it since he has come into the side.

Best game Ive seen Teague play (not that there are any problems / concerns there).

Davies did some great & highly skillful things - certainly looked a lot better than Davey (given the Davey is coming back of a long lay off). But Davies setup severl forward plays & 1%'s that advantaged others in forward line contests.

As Pagan puts it, to win games like these our best players have to be at their best & we get excellent contributions across the board.

This certainly happened today in most cases, although Lance is obviously being played but nursed through games due to injury.

That said it was nice to see Lance nail the final sprit breaking goal & get amongst it himself.

At times this side has truly amazed.

I honestly didnt think we stood a chance today.

Lets hope we can beat the Pies twice in a year & finish off with 10 wins.

Great launching pad (to aim for the 8) for next year & beyond.

I sat at home, normally I would have went accept a have a broken leg so I had no choice but to listen to the game!

Fantastic! I picked us as well...

I think you summed it up pretty well.

Carazzoo also played a game... Stevens was awesome, Teague, Fevola was good, McGrath, Morrell was good... the whole team was great, even Lance got involved!

I just hope we can beat Collingwoof on Friday night!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S Kouta Kouta Kouta

18 possies to Carrazzo in his first game. He showed a cool head under pressure in the backline
Davies goal was magic
Benticks only got 9 possessions, but there were all class. Never gives up

I hope the team stays unchanged for Friday's game against Collingwood... we might have to bring Houla back and we will have to drop someone that doesn't deserve to be dropped...

Its a dilema we havent had for many years.

I hope Davies & Walker are retained - its a must to get these two (Davies in particular) going into next season with the confidence in knowing they are senior players & finished the season in the 1's.
Is Bowyer injured or was he dropped ?

I read that he done his ankle, but Houla and Bowyer were both ommitted on the footy show.... i think.

Unless there is an injury, keep the team unchanged, or maybe we should drop Lance to bring in Houla or Bowyer?
