I've been getting sick and tired of Rama and Bolts continued mediocre form but I couldn't see Sheeds dropping Bolton, Ramanauskas will probably stay in the side as I expect with finals on the line he'll want to keep as much experience as possible. After a quiet game, Dyson is at risk of being dropped - fingers crossed they don't promote Joe and they should keep Mercs in the seconds despite his 6 goal effort. Haynes will come in for Dyson after a great game in the VFL. Wellman must return in the absense of McPhee. Bring Cupes back as he can add another dimension to our forward line and the Bulldogs still have their defensive issues so it would be nice IF we make the finals to run him into some form.
IN- Wellman, Haynes, Cupido
OUT- McPhee (inj), Dyson, Lovett-Murray
Up for possible dropping: Bolton, Rama, Murphy, Dyson with McPhee out for injury.
Possible ins: Wellman, Misiti, Mercuri, Haynes, Hunt

My Cat mate (who dosen't know most of our players) who came along to the game said after "Gee that Bolts guy is pretty ********."
Sums it up.

How is he going to run into form when at most we are going to play 1 game if we by some fluke make the finals.
1 week isn't going to make anything into form.

In. Wellman, Mecuri, Bradley
Out. McPhee, Bolton, Dyson
The only reason Dyson misses out is because of team balance.
Anyone who thinks Hunt will be named is dreaming - even if it is Footscray! Sheedy must hate him!
Sheedy has had his chance to play him the past few weeks when we've been a defender short. Now, with McPhee out, the chance is there but he'll probably play Bradley instead. Lost talent.

Sheeds has been talking about playing youth.. knowing Sheedy..
Ins: Mercuri, Wellman
Outs: McPhee, Dyson
Ins: Wellman, Misiti
Outs: Mcphee, Rama
Note: Kevin Sheedy, can we PLEASE play Bolton on a half forward flank which just happens to be his position... or at least the ONLY position he can win. Sheedy, Bolton is NOT a defender!

Should be:
Out : BULLEN, BOLTON, McPhee
Ins: Mercs, Misiti, Wellman
After 6 goals and 21 marks Mercs showed he can still play, even though it was the VFL. How many games have we lost when Mercs has played (that is more than 10 minutes) - the answer not many. He is the classiest, most skilled and talented player on the list, and in form can single handedly win a game off his boot. Play him in stead of Bullen (can't hit a target, more useless at disposing the ball than Reynolds).
Drop Bolton, he is no good as a defender. In fact I felt his most affective game was when he spent the night on the pine against the pies.
Bring in theold guns i say, Wellman, Misiti and Mercuri because they are the ones that are the difference b/w us being a top 4 side and a middle of the rung laughing stock like we have been.
However, the changes that take place will be:
Out: Richards, McPhee, Rama.
In: Misiti, Mercuri and Wellman.

Has Sheed's lost his marbles. Mercuri in? The guy has had his chances, he was finished 2 years ago. And Mark Bolton out? I mean the kid has had some very tough tasks this year, I think we should cut him some slack. He isn't a key defender, he is a half back flanker that should run foward. Lucas won a best anf fairest at half back last year, WHY THE HELL ISN'T HE THERE THIS YEAR! Wellman has got to come into the side and play. We have holes in defense so fix it with a proper defender. Come on Bomber's fans, let's support the boys so we can make the 8, cause with all hands on deck, and immature teams like Melbourne and Geelong playing in their first final for many years, it's time to dish out the same punishment as we did against Fremantle last year.
What has happened to Cupido, just looked in Reserves side and could not see him named.
Think he is one of our most important players, yes he is inconsistent and sometimes lazy but for genuine crumbing players have him in the top in the league.
Is he injured???

He's suspended for a week Wavell, for a VFL discretion.

Wellman, Misiti definatly and possibly Mercuri to retire. That should give us an edge against the dogs. We need to recruit defense and midfield areas. Trade a couple of picks and Hennemen for Richard Tambling.
