What a classic 80's movie! I love it although one thing puzzles me and has since I first watched it in the 80s when I was 9. When the nerds are watching the vision from the girls bathroom, why does Poindexter let out an agonising scream?

I love watching these movies, I've only found one on DVD so far, it was a shame they only made the four. Would of liked to have seen more.

It needed more of the old characters in it, with better lines, and a better plot, Nerds 4 was OK, I liked the 2nd better then most of them.

I watched it again last night! What a classic. Booger is a legend.
I can also announce that a modern revenge of the nerds is being made in 2006!!! Casting has not begun yet.

#1 - Quality viewing, a classic.
#2 - Quality viewing, my favourite (Nerds in Paradise :D).
#3 - So bad I couldn't sit through all of it.
#4 - Not too bad, nice nostalgic feel to it and waaay better than 3.
If they make #5 in 2006 then the casting and script better be good or else it will suck big time like #3.

It won't be 5. It is a remake of the original.

It is a remake of the original.
That is SOOOO BAD. They cannot top the original. There was only one James Bond and there will only be one Booger, Poindexter etc.

The original was the best although I never understood how Booger was classified as a nerd, but gotta love "Bush, we got Bush" or "I thought he was looking at my mum's douche bag, but that's in Ohio". Panty raid was good too and gotta love the nerdish laughs. Loved the Tri-Lambs head honcho's reactions when he first lets the nerds start the frat (in fact, didn't he later play the teacher in the first Bill and Ted movie?). Hell, even Ted McGinley was in this playing the jock and even he couln't make this movie suck.
The first sequel wasn't that bad either (Courtney Thorne Smith in her prime, pre-Melrose Place), but I still found the uni setting from the first one better than Florida. "We got beer, we got beer" "Freeze!"
I heard the other 2 sequels were horrible (I remember seeing III once, all i remember was a protest saying "We're nerds, we're wet, we're very very upset", Ted McGinley's character becomes a nerd (I guess his ability to bring a show/movie down kicked in at this point) and one of the nerds from the original makes a cameo while being obese. Never saw IV, Nerds no More was the subtitle?
A re-make would be interesting, but not sure how it would go, it could just end up being another American Pie with nerds in it.

I thought he blew, but I think it was because he just realised that he was pitching a tent. LOL :D

Saw it a while back and the only good thing about it was Darcy from Married with Children, back in his bleached blonde days.

There is no box set. You can buy the first 2 movies in a double dvd from Amazon.com but 3 and 4 are still only available on vhs.
