Congrats Joey, a true champions of the club!

Luckily the club in all its wisdom is putting Joe in a car.

Loved his goal in the 93 GF and then the one in the 2001 Prelim from almost the same spot.

Champion.

DO we know if he will do a lap of honour for real? Prolly in a Southbank BMW! :D

If not, does this mean he is still a chance at playing a final this year?

I hope so. I would like to see the three retirees (whoever they are) do a lap after the game on the ground together.

definately doing a lap in a car.

i guess his finals chances would depend on fitness.

Mercuri and Misiti both might be needed in the finals though. Is it known whether it is their last match on the weekend?

Misiti is finished, he is injured and cannot play again.

Am a fan of his footy but not the man himself so I am glad he is finishing, I hated having to barrack for him.

Mercs aint retiring as of yet.

Joey has played his last game unfortunately, and Wellman will have played his last when our season is over.

Going to be very emotional on Sunday with Joey, i f***en love the bloke.

Well done Joe Misiti. Fantastic season and career. Still another couple left in him. The only reason Wellman is retiring is because he is bitter that he hasn't been selected the last couple of weeks when he was available, and now that the Waterside has opened he will be into that after footy. As for Mercuri, hang up the boots, you are not wanted. He might be a star in the VFL but he certainly isn't in the AFL. Has been never will be again.

Congratulations to Sean Wellman on a very fine career and good luck in his retirement!
Never would of thought when he left Adelaide he would come on to be the player he is today.
What a great 3 way deal that was for us to get Jarman, you guys Wellman and the Hawks Salmon.
Initially I thought we were going to get the best of that deal and we did in the early stages but credit to Wellmen for overcoming this minor set back and becoming a premiership player for you guys

Explain Mark Bolton?

Star nowhere. And he's also given an insane contract.

Fantastic lap of honour that was. Send him around in a ********ing golf buggy. Though he did get close with the fans near the fence, something you can do in a convertable BMW.
