trade them both!!! *if anyone wants them*

add in Fiora and Rodan aswell

As for those guys turning their careers around under Terry, Come off it.
Not even Terry himself has super natural powers to perform those tricks.

NO MORE EXCUSES they have had their chance :mad:

Tiva has been extremely down on form this year his confidence is lacking. He is the sort of player that will start playing well when the team plays well, so because our team may take a little while to find its feet again Tiva should probably go somewhere else, he is tradable because he could make a quick fix up for a team that needs just that little more to be competitive.
Chaffey turns the ball over to much and now that Hartigan is coming through we don't need him anyway so wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded.
These players are more likely to be traded or kept then delisted because there are still lots of players that need to be delisted before them
For example Hilton, Pettefer, Marsh, Blumfield and more

Why not? is he contracted to a large sum of money?
he has had his chance and now he should go.

i dont think TW will take the chance in delisting him and then Sheeds or Pagan pick him up and he becomes a star

He had his chance and he has taken it thus far

I thought he was excellent down back before getting injured,

I take it you didn't rate his 60metre pinpoint kickouts, or his dash out of the backline?

Pettifer has shown what a defined role and ground time can do for a player.

This has to be kept in mind in regards to many of our younger players.

He has had a small amount of good games this year, but i still don't think there is much in him, just because we are going for youngsters doesn't mean that we have to keep all of them. There are always going to be some along the way that never make it to AFL standards. Although his performance in VFL is generaly good he lacks the confedence required to make a consistant AFL player, unless TW has something to do with it.

Schulz is Defiantly not overrated, it usually takes the key position players a little longer to adapt to AFL footy. Needs a little more match practice and he will get better and better in season 2005

ive got an idea. lets just sack the entire list. heck they all played crap for pretty much the entire year.

hilton = injury prone
gaspar = 0 confidence, knee is shot
ottens = hasnt lived up to the hype
chaffey = constant turnovers
brown = didnt finish off the year
pettifer = because some people never will forgive him for not playing well until this year
campbell = too old
stafford = ditto
bowden = he wasnt as good as this year before this year so get rid of him
richo = misses some easy shots for goal
blumfield = injury and form prone
fiora = has not played well enough for an early pick
marsh = total hack
morrison = has not been given a decent chance at senior level so he is not good enough
rodan = has not been fantastic so cut him
flemming = not skilled enough
hall = is not a key position player so he has to go
tuck = didnt break the senior side so he is gone
roach = he might not make it so lets delist him too
jackson = some hawthorn supporters friend said he sucks so get rid of him
coughlan = op wrecked his season so we might as well offload him
shulz = only kicked 6 goals in one game that just isnt good enough
nichols = hack
krakouer = too skinny
johnson = because wells would have been better
gilmour = havent seen him play he must be crap
weller = hasnt dominated so he is gone too
hyde = did nothing until this year so delist him too
tivendale = had a crap year to his standard so bye bye
hartigan = took until round 22 to get rising star nomination so he just isnt up to scratch
newman = got injured, get rid or him
zantuck = bad attitude so cut him loose
archibald = last pick in the draft must be bad
raines = if he was any good he would have been father/son
dragga = too slow
moore = hair too red
fletcher = used to play for carlton and besides he is useless
kellaway = his brother is a really terrible kick so get rid of him
foley = if he was any good what is he doing on the rookie list?

seriously i am so sick of this crap that is flying around. fletcher, houlihan, nichols, marsh and maybe a couple more - these guys you would reckon are out the door with no reward. of the rest some will be bandied around as trade bait but if the deal is not favourable they will be kept. expect some of chaffey, tivendale, pettifer, rodan, fiora etc to be there next year. i for one am willing to leave the decision making to plough and good on him if he sees something in one of these players and gives them a shot next year they might just repay him. i think he is able to do the job quite well without us declairing player a and player b a certainty to be delisted. as for kane pettifer i would reckon 15 others would be lining up before him so get ready for him to be out there next year. jay shulz? if he is offloaded we might as well shut up shop. he has a lot of promise and will be given time to develop.

Get a clue.

Well said Darth. Logistically there are only so many players we can get rid of at once. There are some obvious ones who will go (most of who were recruited from other clubs incidentally), and there will be a few survive because they are contracted or merely because there are others in the queue ahead of them.

I take it you didn't rate his 60metre pinpoint kickouts, or his dash out of the backline?

Pettifer has shown what a defined role and ground time can do for a player.

I thought Pettifer in the Brisbane game added a dimension to our side that has been lacking for a while with his kickouts from behinds. IMO there is no doubt about his talent, just questions about his attitude. This year he has greatly improved his attitude and as long as he keeps working on this he will be a reasonable player. (It's not unheard of for young blokes to live the high life when they hit the big smoke, then knuckle down a bit when they finally realise the opportunity they've got). His postion is vulnerable though because he is out of contract and one of the few players we have who is tradeable.

I think that Firoa would have more apeal as trade bait than Tivers or chaffey...may get a low 2nd R pick for Fiora...whereas Tivers and chafey would be 3rounders for mine and at that value may as well be kept
