Players will be sacked as early as Tuesday. According to Greg Miller on MMM post match, players will be notified as early as Tuesday that their services are no longer required at Punt Rd.

All said, it is panning out to be a very interesting off-season for the Tigers!

This turnaround theory has also had me shaking my head. Lets get Clinton King back and get Wallace to magically turn him around. Coaches who have taken the 'ill turn around a dud' attitude have always talked about it in the end being thier achilles heel.

Some of those prices are insane - it's money in the bank. Not since Phar Lap has there be a more sure thing - Nichols, Houlihan & Marsh! Will you take my house as collateral?
Rodan will probably stay and at worst has some trade value. Blumfield may be shopped around for a late pick also.
Considering Marsh probably doesn't even need to be told he is cut I'd say unfortunately we need to keep Stafford unless we resign Otto and trade to get another ruckman.
I'd be keeping Dragga and give him a year to see if he can play as a tagger - only chance of survival.

$1.30 FletcherGood odds on Blumfield Ghost . I`ll have a hundred on that . I`ll have a hundred on Marsh as well .

Will you hold that bet ?

If this is the case (sackings this early ) , the footy trip is bound to be interesting this year

I will be amazed if
1. Richo
2.Gaspar
3. A. Kellaway
4. Chaffey
5. Bowden
6. Tivendale
7. Campbell
8. Ottens
are ALL there next year.

Clubs live or die by their senior players and ours are not good enough.

Get out the broom TW.

I strongly diagree with 3 of the players you have mentioned.

Ottens would have to be one of the most important players we need to improve. Bowden has been in career best form, and would have to be given at least another season to see if he can be establish himself as a consistent performer.

As for Richo . . . well what can i say, he's just Richo!! He ain't going anywhere. We need him to help out our forward line. He has been the only shining light down there this year, and to get rid of him would be like biting your nose off to spite your face.

We all know at least half of the list is not worthy, but there will not be too many dramatic changes to the list come next season. I would almost go as far as saying most of the players you have mentioned above will still be around next season.

.

You have no idea how valuable stafford will be under a decent coach. Someone who will either ruck him for longer or leave him as an option to Richo in the forward line.

he is a better player than you think.
