With the Diamond Valley FL and WRFL looking to have third senior competition next year. Where are the new sides going to come from and who are they going to be ? What would be enticement to get a side to change to one of the comps. What do you think ?

Well, the Sydenham Sharks are entering the EDFL B Grade comp next year. That would make 13 if all clubs stayed next year.

Saying that though, it looks like the Maribynong Park may be forced to switch to the WRFL because under EDFL rules, all clubs must field a team in each grade. They pulled the pin on their 16's earlier in year and it looks like the EDFL may force them out, leaving a 12 team comp in B Grade.

I think you'll find the DVFL is just splitting it's B league in half, without any new clubs. So, where this year you have 8 in A grade and 16 in B, next year it'll be 8, 8 and 8.

Regarding the WRFL, I don't know what's going on there, but I'm guessing it's a similar situation.

Theres 10 in a and 16 in b they want 10, 10 and 8 at least so they need like 2 clubs
