Glenelg will expect David Noble to stay put at the Bay at least until the end of 2005. There was speculation that Noble was to accept a position as assistant coach at Richmond alongside new coach Terry Wallace, but a get-out clause was removed after some re-negotiation last year.

From Advertiser 1/9/04--"As far as we are concerned there is no issue," GFC Chief Exec Darren Chandler said. "The contract was finalised two years ago and the club has every intention of honouring that."

Also at Tiger-land, Heath Culpitt has re-signed for another two years and is current favourite for the club's B&F award.

Rooster Mark Jeffries will not front up against South Adelaide this week after being given a one match suspension by the SANFL tribunal. He pleaded guilty to striking Heath Culpitt in their upset loss to Glenelg last round.

And finally, former Crow and recently delisted Richmond player Ben Marsh will return to West Adelaide next season.
