Well done, Afghanistan. A hundred at Lords, gotta be happy with that. Bit scratchy heading to the ton, but played some great shots beforehand. Steve, 37 no.
Once again, half chances are costing the poms dearly, both Waughs' have been dropped, Steve a couple, Mark at least one, very hard one though. Go for the throat, you Aussies.

Well done Hippie, not many people would remember Junior's old nickname.
As for the Poms, when oh when will they learn to play back or forward? This shuffling sideways in the crease is a recipe for LBW disasters.

Afghanistan= The forgotten war (Waugh)
Back in the mid 80's when Steve was in the test side and Mark was not he picked up this nick name in reference to the selectors having forgotten about him
