AFLQ must be coming along, no?

I noticed that the Suncoast Lions were convincingly eliminated by Morningside last weekend. Still in the fight are Morningside, Broadbeach and Southport. The fact that an AFL reserves side came in at only 4th must this year must suggest that the AFLQ competition is not bad, right? Thoughts?

Lions though could only field a set number of listed players and their rookies were at their clubs of origin. Might be closer next year with Western Magpies and Mayne dropping to the 2nd tier league.
