Nah, I totally agree, he's showing a fair bit, and he looks like he's ready to step up to match it with the big boys (hopefully he'll be in the seniors in the next couple of weeks on current form). But like I said in the other thread, I don't like the chances of any kid from any team scoring a ton in today's environment -- I'll be rapt even if we unearth a consistent 60+ goalkicker in Bowden or Wiggins.

In saying that, I'm starting to share the same optimism about him, LY, but we can't get too far ahead of ourselves -- until young Patrick starts proving himself in the seniors, he's just a kid with a lot of potential. If he fulfills it, you'll be right on the money. :)

Size, class, pedigree and a solid grounding in the VFL. This guy is ready. Give him a taste, let him know what is required, hit the weight room over summer and we have the second tall goalkicking option we yearn for.

Well LY, it would be a lot easier if I wasn't seeing constant reminders about it on the net! :p

Only kiddin, I've gotten no-where. I had cut down to just 10 a day a couple of weeks back, but now I'm back to where I started. I'll give it another go in a month or so .... hopefully I'll have a stronger will this time around. :(
