Just curious as the show has finished, what is everybodies thoughts on it? Who watched it, who avoided it, etc?

I found it quite funny. A twist on the whole reality tv show genre. Very entertaining how many times he came to finding out the truth.

My wife and I quite enjoyed for something a little different. He was a genuine nice guy and it was great to his reaction. Still think "Ashleigh" is a hottie though!

Absolutely!

I loved the show. Matt is a legend of a bloke, judging from his mannerisms and behaviour. Pretty good concept and I reckon it worked out well.

Earl was cool too.

Was very funny. I wonder why it wasnt given an earlier time slot, maybe some of the stunts were a reason, which reminds me of hands on the high priced hooker, which is a rip off of the hands on the whatever for the final 3 of survivor. As obvious as the idea is I thought it was innovative and entertainng.

Pretty funny show, though I have missed a few of them because I kept forgetting it was on. But it was good, I liked it.

Yeah I wanted to watch it but I always forgot when it was on..they didn't advertise it THAT much. Hopefully I'll catch next season :D

They revealed that the hutch won, then the host had an urgent message in his ear saying there has been a serious breach of the rules. The hutch admitted he was an actor, then all of them did. matt asked brian if he was an actor and he admitted it. Matt got all the prizes including the $100,000. they had an interview with him where nothing worth mentioning happened and there were no updates about what has happened to the people after the show. Throughout the whole show, the host kept saying "I am not really a tool. I am not really a tool". i don't think matt is friends with them, really. it was a bit of a shock to him that they were all fakes, particularly brian because he was his best friend and ended up being one of the writers and directors. He felt betrayed by him a fair bit. one surprise was that he said the girl he most wanted to get with was the brunette and not the blonde.

They went through moments where they thought that Matt almost found out but he said that it never even entered his mind that the show could be fake.

i looked it up at imdb.com and there is a joe schmoe 2 in the USA.

I thought it was a great show, that Holly bird ohhoohh she was stunning, was looking at the joe schmo 2 show, funny how they can pull something like this off again, surely they couldnt pull of a thrid show, unless they found someone living aroung punt road, where this time of year it gets real quiet and dark..

But congrats to the people who pulled it off especially with all the emotional difficulties he/they would have faced, best reality show ive seen i reckon

Funny show. Kip diving into the pool was probably the highlight. Yeah and Matt was pretty f***ed off that Hutch won. Ashleigh and Molly would make a pretty impressive threesome.

My take of it on the sceptical side -

Its a 10 day reality show.
The Host guy mentioned in his interview with Matt that the crew devoted one year to the project ???????

It makes me wonder how many Joe Schmoes they actually filmed before they ended up with a guy who wasnt a pr!ck, scumbag or ar$ehole?

When you think about it, the show wouldnt work unless the contestant has a heart of gold.

Well at least a good guy won in the end.

Im pretty sure Joe Schmo 2 was filmed before the 1st one even went to air . The same thing occured for the Average Joe shows .

I started watching at the 2nd last show, a mate of mine told me about it. I must say, "Molly" is fine, but I would end up with someone like "Ashleigh" I am attracted to women like that.
