Yeah it was a pretty bad turn out, only half of port douglas came. Alot of people in cairns do follow AFL, just look at the crowd that turned up to the Port v Geelong game. For Cairns that was a decent amount, as for local league sure it was the gf but most locals who follow aussie rules just don't give a damn about the local league and honestly who can blame them.

So how many did/will its local rugby comp get then smart alec.

WA got 22000, SA will get over 30000 to its footy GF. Hell Brisbane had days where it got 10000 to the AFLQ QF.

The Queensland Cup rug by league final in Brisbane this weekend ony got 9000.

Cazaly Oval also got 800 to a cricket test match. Does that mean they dn't follow cricket up there either? :rolleyes:
