latest news out of melbourne concerning freo
3 of our young guns are 30 kilos over weight (combined)
leigh brown, paul hasleby and matthew pavlich they are all slow and over weight according to the melbourne footy people
but the funny thing is according to the actual team they are all under the average for body fat so where the melbourne footy people get the idea that they are over weight is a mystery to us freo supporters

I also thought Brown looked a little large when he was being interviewed last week regarding his contract. But, apparently all three of the players mentioned, are under the average fat %. All three are great players and will only get better over the next season or two.

For Freo's sake, I hope Haselby and Pavlich stick by the club like Brown has.

The only player who is obviously overweight would be Rioli. I think that Freo have enough problems (ie: Trying to get a win) to worry about what the media thinks about their weight.

If everyone got off their backs, they would weigh a lot less

Well I hate to say it, but neither Brown or Haselby look like natural runners. I can understand Wallsy being mislead based on their appearance.

Does this mean we are picking up natural footballers and training them to be athletes rather than the opposite?
