For those who don't already know, the website is up at:

Full biographical details of Don's candidates are included.

Everyone should go and read the "Issues" section of this website. A complete outline on the FACTS of what happened this season and nothing to do with the ISSUES.

Facts outline what happened and the issues are a view of what the facts tell us. Operation Recovery has no idea and think that todays footy fan is stupid and will jump onto the bandwagon when required. Go home Don, you should of stayed on the board and fought instead of running away and complaining.

Oh and I love the fact that you have a picture of yourself holding aloft the premiership cup. Talk about putting yourself on a pedestal. DISGRACEFUL.

Dons team arent doing themselves any favors, over at hawkheadquarters, one of them has been masquerading as just your average concerned supporter , bagging the board anf in particular Dermie mercilessly. Just outed himself as part of Dons transparent team ...

Gimme a break, tell me GJ, are you part of Dons team as well?

Oh and another thing all these facts pertain to 2004. What about all the issues and problems that have occurred over the past 4-5 years that have erroded the club to this state that you talk of Don? Where are they?

Yes we had a bad 2004. WE ALL KNOW THAT! Yes the club needs to address some issues and they are doing it. But if the club has been so poorly run over the past 4-5 years (of which you were a member of the board) why not come out and say what they are instead of harping on about the outcome (which was the poor performance in 2004).

It's all for publicity, he hasn't been in the limelight for a while. Go Home Don!! Go back under the rock u came from. Bye Bye Don.

Don has worked the media beautifully and conned them into creating the illusion that things are a lot worse at Hawthorn than they really are. I hope and pray most Hawthorn members are clever enough to see through Don's transparency, realise he is full of wind, and tell him where to shove his ticket.

The only thing I'll say on this is that, this thread will make for some interesting reflection in two years time (imo) if Ian D and Dermott are still 'the main power-brokers'.

A complete outline on the FACTS of what happened this season and nothing to do with the ISSUES....DISGRACEFUL.I believe the word chronology of 2004 would be a better description. Very few issues on issues page. Didn't see a mention of the stupid photo Don had taken of himself with the rusty axe. Certainly that was as close to an issue as most of the items listed on his useless website!

6 weeks, 6 months, a year, 2 years, 5 years .... it doesn't matter does it? What people are realising is that Don Scott is not offering any solutions, just highlighting problems. They don't want to oust a Board unless the alternative gives them hope they will improve things, and so far Don Scott has been unable to do this. He is no more effective than a hot-headed poster on this forum complaining about lack of performance. I don't want to hear about complaints, I want to hear about solutions.

In the next few years when the club is down on the bottom of the ladder all you easily lead supporters who think you know what goes on in the place do not complain. At the moment the club is being run in an UNHAWTHORN like way and Don would like to change this by getting a few of Ian Dickers yes men off the board and break up the mix a bit. What is wrong with this?.Another thing the club have just decided on next seasons slogan to replace Hawks IN FULL FLIGHT it is HARDCORE HAWKS 2005.I for one are looking forward to watching HARDCORE Nick Holland in action next year.

I work on the current match day staff and nearly everyone involved at the club would like a change, remember a fish rots from the head.I would love if the current board was broken up because they are not democratic in there decision making.

If anyone had any doubts about the judgements made by the current board, "The Family Club" and "Hardcore Hawks" are a clear example of why Dicker has to go.

Why? If you can't figure out the damage this does to membership and sponsorship it is because you are turning a blind eye to the problem.

Big Gee can you answer me this question? its a little of topic

Presuming i believe you and all, are hawthorn looking to rebuild via the draft? are we looking to off-load players for draft picks?

I believe Thompson has to go, although he isnt a good player he is grossly over rated in my opininon by other clubs in my opinion. If the press and his words at the Club Champion awards are anything to go by he hasnt got the heart for us anymore.

Big Gee your part of the club, tell us straight is the press making our predicament-Financially worse then it is, or is it worse underneath the surface.

I have small memories of 1996 as i was only 9 but I like you all am a Hawthorn Man and the least we all want is '96 all over again.

Am I right?

Just beware people. Beware of plants ... people campaigning for the Don Scott cause and using the divide and conquer method to achieve their goal.

We have seen two new posters appear of late. Their timing is impeccable and their message is clear .... that everything the current Board is doing is crap, and that Ian Dicker is evil.

I pay little or no attention to newbies, most are only here to spread their poison, then leave. Just beware ... Hawkheadquarters has also been experiencing these problems.

Can someone please tell me if this is true?

Has the Club made an announcement?

In the next few years when the club is down on the bottom of the ladder all you easily lead supporters who think you know what goes on in the place do not complain. At the moment the club is being run in an UNHAWTHORN like way and Don would like to change this by getting a few of Ian Dickers yes men off the board and break up the mix a bit. What is wrong with this?.Another thing the club have just decided on next seasons slogan to replace Hawks IN FULL FLIGHT it is HARDCORE HAWKS 2005.I for one are looking forward to watching HARDCORE Nick Holland in action next year.Firstly, Scott doesn't want to change "the mix", he wants all positions to spill and be President with his people. That is what is wrong with that. If he wanted to change the mix he should have stayed on the Board (that would be one position) and then pushed for a couple of others to be elected at the AGM (that would be three positions). That would have changed the mix, but Scott chose to run instead of standing up (now that is unHawthorn like).

Secondly, most of the posters on this board (and I'm talking about those who have been on here most of the year, not just since Scott started to blow his own trumpet) are quite intelligent and have put forward some insightful postings about how the club has declined over the past few years and how the club can move forward (although some of do disagree at times). They have put forward more solutions to the issues over the past day (let alone year) then Scott and his ticket have put forward over the past few months. And after seeing some of the things that the current board has been doing I am certain that they do have a look at this board occassionally to see what some of the fans are saying. Scott would do well to sit down and read what is posted here instead of having his people come on here and abuse us.

Thirdly, Hardcore Hawks. Let's hope that the team can follow this slogan and be Hard to the Core.

You've won me over, especially now have learned that
next year we'll be barracking for the Hardcore (Porn) Hawks.

More naked Shane Crawford, let's hope and pray.

I wrote an email to dicker and co 2 weeks and no response...
Wrote one to Don and co yesterday and it was responded to 2day..
That tells me some1 values there members more than others and atm don has got my vote, unless Ian D pulls something out of his hat that makes me change my mind..

So, from my pov does that mean I (join date 23-01-2000, eighth poster on site overall) should pay little or no attention to a 'newbie' such as yourself?...

Or maybe I should just judge each poster on their quality (or otherwise) of their posting and have my own thoughts over what I consider their worth to be?

Everyone was a newbie once. Everyone should be afforded the chance to be judged on merit.

Ian Dicker is evil?

HHQ has experienced these problems?

The only problems are those who don't believe in free speech and dramatise to support their unsupported argument.

You have no idea of the work that is going on to take Hawthorn forward.

But keep your opinions coming. They are helping those who will get change through.

Thankyou, Adelaide Hawk

There are serious questions on our finances over the next few years.Big money paying long term contracts are part of the problem,be happy if we win a game next year because it will be a tough year.
