I think it's rather sad that a player of Chris Lamb's quality has been put to waste in the VFL, when he could fill the hole in our backline at Full-Back.

In 2002 Lamb played quite admirably on Lynch, Lloyd and others. He seems the perfect candidate for a full back, he has speed, physicality and footy smarts.

Unless Lamb is elevated to the seniors we need to look for a new Full-Back, maybe in Mal Michael. Al Nicholson can't be given the big jobs at Full-Back.

Here is my top 5 preferences:

1.Mal Michael
2.Jonathan Hay
3.Robert Haddril
4.Shannon Watt
4.Simon Prestigiacomo.

Not keen on Watt or Presti.

Darren Glass would be ok but I doubt West Coast would offload him as then they'd have to settle for Trent Carroll.

glass would be great

i'd personally prefer hadrill over hay but we could get hay cheaper

mal michaels pretty much out of the question especialyl salary wise

Maybe Robbo for Hay?

I'd be sad to see Robbo go though.

yeh thats a possibility but we dont wanna take away someone like robbo who can kick goals from the half forward line while Miller rarly kicks goals

There is talk that we could get Brent Guerra for Darren Jolly.

This would allow us to trade Robbo for Hay IMO.

I like Robbo more than Guerra but Brent would still be a valuable acquisition at the club.

guerras more of the vardy or davey (minus excitement) type

yes he is a goal kicking option so maybe its okay and perhaps Miller is ready 2 be on his own at CHF

I will be majorly disappointed if Millsy doesn't kick 30+ goals in 2005.

yeh we'd all love him 2 be eventually a riedwoldt or tredrae type that can take marks up the ground n kick 60+ a year

i would be very excited if we got brent guerra but do u think it would realli happen?

I reckon we're a chance as Saints are desperate for a decent ruckman.

Guerra comfortably.

We look like building a team of hardnuts and Guerra would be very handy in our side.

Milne we don't really need as Davey does a better job already IMO.

I'd prefer their number 17 pick to be honest. and then use that to net a player.

ive heard jolly will be traded for C.jones, and a late pick..

Which could enable us to trade robbo for a FB, hopefully michael...

As Brisbane do need a goal kicker.. Their wages are similiar..

But the hottest talk is jolly, ward, and Lamb for Watt and Jones..
