View Full Version : Rumours so far?

My most recent batch of rumours are:

Tarrant has sold his house (true) and Geelong want him badly (?).

Malthouse was conducting a group review, all players present, and McGough arked up when it came to his turn and told MM right off. MM came back hard and told him he's only be traded for "top dollar". I heard this from a Real Estate agent whose brother knows McGough's father (great source I know, I hardly believe myself when I say it).

Presti has been offered to the Saints (I hope this isn't true, I love the bloke and he's vital).

Any more? Any confirmations to these?

Don't believe any of them. I reckon Geelong would want Tarrant, but they aren't going to get him.

Exactly what club wouldn't want a Tarrant in theire team. Especially those that need key forwards. The same whith Judd a lot of other clubs will at least have a crack.

I too recent sold a property but contrary to speculation l will be remaining a Collingwood member.

Geelong cannot afford Tarrant.

Can't wait for next week to be over so all these pathetic posts linking Tarrant to other clubs and he's unhappy at Collingwood are over........till next year's trade period that is.

Tarrant will be staying put. Yes he sold his house but it was to enable him to buy another one with a big home theatre in it to turn it in to a huge play station and X-Box gaming room. He is Plasma and gaming mad. Big claim you might say, how could he know this you might ask. To save question time here it is. I work for LG in laverton and I am very close with the Office admin/PR lady. LG used to sponsor Woey and they still have a strong relationship with him. This has lead to M.Malthouse & C.Tarrant & N.Buckley & N.Balme & G.Swan just to name a few seeking us out for discount products. MM nad GS are rather chatty as is master Tarrant. Tarrant won an LG -plasma for mark of the year and proceded to tell her his plans which she relayed to us. If I have left anything out I am truly sorry.

Why would they seek LG out when SONY sponsors the whole of Collingwood? pffft.

I heard Tarrant was Playstation boy. The bit about Geelong I heard from Geelong people, its not a Collingwood one.

Tazza sold his place in Clifton Hill (I think it was) because too many folks were wandering up for an autograph, and he's moved to a penthouse in the Docklands or Southbank, near the city anyway.

Please translate.

I think you meant Geelong wanted to get him in the draft initially. Personally, I haven't heard that. I think you are referring to Tom Davidson.

You were talking about Plasma TVs.

Tarrant won a 42 inch plasma tv and he came in to see how he goes about getting a 60 inch and how much more it was gonna cost him. Malthouse came to buy a washing machine dryer combo unit and a fridge for his holiday house down the coast. Greg swan and Neil Balme came in to discuss sponsorship before sony got the nod from Big Ed. Woey comes in every two or three months to sign autographs and he still does a little promo work for LG.

carringbush sounds like he knows his stuff so stop taking pot shots at the messenger.

this thread was started by Cyclops who prefaced his initial rumour with "what Geelong ppl told him ", so have a go at him for even bothering to post such unfounded crap.

lets move on please.

Agree. Why would you attack someone you don't know using a funny nic on a light-hearted footy site...

Have a go yourself! I heard this stuff, some is true, some is crap, I just wanna know if others are getting the same vibes.

Feel free.

Don't worry Cyclops about Micheal Moore he is use to posting on a site where crapola rules and you can attack anyone who doesn't post there.

I understood you were just throwing up what you found out and seeking confirmation or denial. Some people like to think they know and can be authoritative without knowing anything at all.

BTW hello Mick! ;)
