Got any proof?
Who knows what's the go with Presti.
A lot of Collingwood fans have not been showing Presti the love they gave him in the past.

It's not that we dont like him at all - it was reported in either the hun or Age that he will be put up, so we're merely speculating.
If I had my way, he'd be going nowhere.

Good to hear.
I wouldn't mind Presti at the Dees but would have plenty of other players higher on our wishlist.
Presti is a good fullback who can blanket gun forwards. They aren't that common, and he'd be very hard to replace. He's also a real team-man, hard working, very sacrificial in his play, and sets a great standard for our other defenders.

You can add me to the list of members who wants to keep Prestiperyycomo. He runs straight at the ball. Hes not to slow either. A good old fashioned honest footballer. Mat Presti be a part of our next premiership winning team.

I like Presti too. However, if something came up next week such as a midfielder, I would be open to trading him. If Collingwood wants Travis Johnstone (which they do) they will try to trade O'Bree for him but Melbourne may want Presti to bolster its defence. I'd almost settle for Travis Johnstone for Presti. We have some young talent down their in the back line. Players like Maxwell and Walker came on last year and we can cover the loss of Presti, particularly if it means getting a midfielder of quality, which is what we need.

That's contributing a lot to this board. The reality is you're all so scared s***less that you won't come up with a suitable trade for Ottens. Take it from us with our experiences of Nick Stevens, the media will come to town on you if buckle at the last minute and don't trade. Stop offering up duds.

Please, take it back..
I may be forced to eat humble pie (and I hope I do) but Tex is just a giant dud.
No brain, average agility and minimal skill.
I don't often bag Collingwood players, but I can tell you right now that we will not make the top 8 with this bloke as a key defender every week. Fact.

That's what people were saying about Presti about 6 or 7 years ago. Walker will come on. There aren't too many big men of Walker's age around that are as strong as him. You want to hold on to these guys. We drafted him pretty late in the draft. We're the ones that spotted him and saw something in him. He'll only improve. Believe me. There is something to work with there. You have to give young players time. Remember, in his very first match he was asked to play on Matthew Richardson. Not just any dud is given that job in his first game.

Fair enough re Presti as a youngster - that's a good point.
I just cant see him being able to hold down a key defensive spot next year, and with Wakelin probably having one more season left, it will be up to Tex and Maxwell (super kid, but far too small to play on the Tredrea's).
Clement at full back is just a waste of a brilliant player.
If we lose Presti, we MUST recruit a Watt, hell even M.Graham if it means Tex can bide his time just a year or two longer.

Ah, but you've just missed my point.
Tex may well be ok, but certainly not next year.
Re-read the last few posts. ;)
