The Ottens move to another club
Lance Whitnall to another club
Tyson Stenglein
Josh Carr
Troy Simmonds
Normally the first day or 2 is to sort out what other clubs are looking to trade
highly unlikely any deals will be done but each yr is different
by the way i havent heard Lance say he officially wants to move yet

Agreed but we are both guilty of the same sin.

Interesting, I would say it's the other way around. Ottens is the most sought after, so a deal is likely to be struck later on when all interested clubs have played their best hands.
If reports are around the mark, I'd say the Stinger deal will be the first significant trade completed.
I hope it's the Ottens deal because I think a lot of other moves will depend on the outcome of this one. For instance if Ottens goes, then the Tigers can turn their attention to someone like Simmonds, and potentially use something they got in return for Ottens to get him.
i think steinglein will be the first to move. Because ottens has so many clubs chasing him it could be a while before he is set to move.
i reckon Stenglein coz the deal would be nearly over IMO and J. Carr wont take long too

Stenglein - the deals apparently already done.
After that? I dont know. Ottens one wont happen till late coz Greg Miller is stubborn and wont accept anything less than a first round draft pick and a ready made player.
Lekkas to carlton will be the first to go through, in exchange for 2nd or 3rd round pick

Sounds like now Simmonds to Richmond may well be first up.

wouldn't surprise me if Simmonds went to the tigers in the preseason draft.

All depends on who else is going to be available in the PSD, if there's someone else decent then we can get Simmonds for very little, if not, then wait for the PSD. (assuming he won't deal with another team)

He wants to be traded .... unless he is now playing for Port, i'm pretty sure they will be able to work out a deal ... ;)
SEN news says the Brad Ottens trade is looking likely to be completed by the end of today.
Chad Morrison is also likely to be involved in a trade by the end of today.

My bet for first trade would Blumfield to Essendon for late draft pick.

Won't Essendon just pick up Blumfield in the pre-season draft now he has been delisted, or do they have to trade for him?
Will be interesting to see how he goes next season back at the bombers, he has his old number waiting for him should he return.

Essendon could wait for the PSD, but there are plenty of teams with picks before them that might want him. Bombers would only need to part with a fourth round pick I reckon to get him in a trade.

I doubt it.
Usually a big trade has to occur before the little ones take place. Its almost like a domino affect.
I still think Stenglein to West Coast would most likely be the first trade done. I don't think any trades will get done today though. Todays is about having a cup of tea and biscuits and seeing whats up for offer ;)
