what do you brisbane supporters think about this trade whitnnal vand 4th round pick for notting this will give you a strong marking forward as replacement for lynch and a draft pick and give us a resonable sized midfielder/forward :confused: :rolleyes:

ur kidding arent you? yep. i certainly hope so. if i was carlton in this instance, i would accept a bag of fish and chips with side of fried rice from brisbane for whitnall. although that would probably be a bit much.

Lance is only rated by blind Carlton fools. If you get a fourth round pick for Lance you should take it and run. The problem is the sack of money that he is on at Carlton and has to be carried by the other club. Total waste of money and space on any list let alone on the Lion's list.

no i am not comparing him to lynch he will never be as good as lynch lynch is a superstar and so is every single brisbane player but he will add another dimension to your fowrard line with 3 talls whitnall, bradshaw and jonothon brown a forward that would strech the best of teams

Whitnall certainly has potential but last time we saw his best was almost four years ago I can recall him playing one of the best games of his career when he kicked 9 goals against us in a game in 2000 at the Gabba but that was then and this is now...so I'm not sure if any team would be willing to take a risk with Whitnall at this stage in his career.

yes but whitnall is a great mark and with the delivery of the brisbane midfielders all big lance needs to do is lead and take big marks in packs whitnall kicked about 30 goals this season and basiclly played second string to fevola he was only on for a bout half of every game and he only player about 15 games he is a very smart footballer and with a coaching staff like brisbane he may be able to get back to his best :confused:
All I remember is a game at the gabba a few years ago where he kicked 8 goals and they beat us fairly easily.
I think it may be worth going after him but I wouldn't want to lose Notting.

I would prefer a great grab in Spaanderman and Merritt any day, than an old hack in Whitnall.

HELLOOOOOOOOO we have Bradshaw already and he booted 40 goals this season. There is no way in hell I would be happy losing Notting for Whitnall.
Pretty much a consensus of opinion. Lance for Notting = NO F*****G way. Lions big losers in this deal.
The Lions would be ripped off losing Darryl White for Whitnall.
Lance might lose weight if he moved north - at least he'd be closer to some of those 'fat farms'....
Seriously - no thanks. As it looks like he's going to St Kilda, a Saints fan rang melbourne radio this morning to say he's looking forward to Lance coming to St Kilda so at least that way they'll have a player to blame when they lose. They haven't had anyone they could honestly bag this year.

You're close - maybe we'd give you a 4th round pick for him, given a 4th pick is likely to be in the 000's !!
