View Full Version : Tiges after Patrick Bowden
The tigers are willing to make a straight swap with the Bulldogs which will be Zantuck for Bowden. Does everyone think that's a fair deal.

If I was the tigers I would go for the deal. Bowden would then play with his brother and would be a better player than Zantuck for years to come. Zantuck would probably fit better at Bulldogs than Essendon

After Zantucks altercation with Darcy a few seasons ago i don't think Zantuck will end up at the Dogs.
You guys can't take P.Bowden now as you will be taking Simmonds with pick no 1 in the PSD.
Still not sure how the Simmonds trade will play out, I think we'll end up giving them something to keep pick 1. Bowden for Zantuck is probably a decent deal, is there a source for this?
On the radio, they reckon that Dogs are having a chat with Tiges. Zantuck would be good for the dogs as you could play him up forard or in the backline, and Bowden is a good forward option for Richmond.

Latest report is the Dogs giving up #6 + Gilbee for Ottens.
However No doubt Brad will say no.
cheers!

Dogs giving up #6 + Gilbee, bowden for Ottens and zantuck
thatd be even better! :D
like u sed Tiger of old, doubt ottens would agree, but i wonder who he would prefer.... dogs or the hawks (pre season draft)??? i hope geelong can stike a reasonable deal!
Nothing stopping us getting Pat Bowden with a 2nd pick in the PSD. Typically only 6-7 clubs participate and despite the 'excitment' generated because people know his surname he won't be in demand.
Taking last years' PSD as a guide there were 11 selections in total and Richmond had selections at 4 (Marsh) and 10 (Weller). This year if we choose to have 2 picks we would have pick 1 and probably pick 9-10.

Zantuck is better than Bowden in my opinion so I'd say that deal was worse.

Gilbee is overrated. He is allready 23, has had 5 AFL seasons and managed just 51 games. Of those 51 games in only 9 of them has he had more than 18 touches. 3 of those were his last 3 games but that is hardly a career. As a running player and receiver who doesn't win his own ball that is very low. 90% of Richmond fans want Fiora shot for this level of performance but somehow Gilbee is a gun?

You've got rocks in your head.....
If the dogs swapped pick 6, gilbee and bowden for ottens and zantuck, i would tear up my membership.
pick 6 will net us a 200 gamer for the club. gilbee and bowden will continue to IMPROVE.
ottens is overrated and injured, while zantuck is nothing more than a VERY poor kretiuk, and a loose cannon.
Keep talking to geelong.PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!!!!
i wouldnt mind that trade (Bowden for Zantuck), its better than Leigh Harding for Zantuck
