Clearly MM and Co. are the only ones who rate our list.
We need atleast SOMEONE new at the club. What about that bloody prick Morrison from the Weagles?

Smith would have been good but not for pick 7.
Hawthorn have gone crazy with their clearances, ywt they nearly lose Smith but keep hacks like Holland, Barker, Dixon, etc. who are largely responsible for their poor results.
good luck to Smithy, we move on with 3 hours to go

Don't lose heart guys, the wooden spoon in 2005 should ensure a more active trade period next year for the Pies.
I think it's all part of Mick's agenda to prove his premiership clock theory correct.

Personally I am glad to keep pick 7 and 23.
Would rather not trade than lose these picks.

Nah, we don't shaft our fans by bombing out season after season for draft picks.

He must be taking lessons from one G Thomas....
Cant wait for that salary cap pressure to hit Morabbin, and the Lions to take Riewoldt bak to Queensland

gee.......... coming from a team that has made mediocracy and failure an art form over the last few years that's a compliment.
you have only gotten the side you have because of your FAILURES not your success your cretan.
would be so sweet if Heath Black goes into the PSD and we pick him up.... :D

Sack Balme NOW.

8 Oct 2004, 12:14
Balme couldn't pressure a hooker with a $100 bill.
Someone down at Collingwood needs to learn how to close a deal.

Surely there must be another cloke floating around somewhere who you could use pick 7 on.

Did you end up getting the 2 top 10 picks you were after for the greatest player ever to enter draft week?

Nah, you just shaft your fans by promising the earth and delivering naught.
Something called 'incompetence'.
But at least it looks like you can keep R. Shaw.

He could do well to take lessons from Thomas.
How many years has MM been at Collingwood vs GT at the Saints? Who's list would you want?
Both took over teams in a similar position so spare me the "draft picks" excuse.

Is that your best shot? Pretty weak effort even by your standards. And who have collingwood picked up in this years trade period again?????
Still have mcgough and shaw on your list i notice?
Face it zeke, MM is not a coach's ahole. As for Balme?? pfffttt

Who have you recruited?? Can you answer the question or are you going to keep putting yourself down???
Collingwood keeping the same list has to be good for football.

A user name like that, I would have thought you'd support socialism in professional sport.
Anyhow, check the number of top 10 picks both clubs have had over the past decade, or if you like, just compare since both started coaching. I think you might start to see your problem.

Sweet for us too. Free up that cap space on what is now a fringe player at the Saints.
Lust for Ball, Dal Santo, Riewoldt . . . . . and you get Black @ $350K a year.
You must be soooo happy.

Greg Stafford (2001), Kane Johnson (2002), Nathan "Judas" Brown(2003) and you still managed to finish stone, motherless lost with 4 wins!!!
so shut your trap .........WOODY
the wooden spoon is oh so fitting for a team whose supporters come out of the woodwork when you actually win 2 games in a row.
and you still await the "messiah" Richo to deliver..HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
pure gold................... :D

surely the 3 muppetts, heath, brayden and rhys would have atleast aroused some interest and we could have traded all 3 for atleast one seconds player from the ovens & murray leauge......would have been a handy trade.
as long as we have muppetts like that at the lexus centre we will never win a flag!!!

That's a corker - 1999? 2000? Oops.
Couldn't make the finals for eight years.
Get back to me when you're in the same class as us.

You mean how Collingwood has made two GF's in the last couple of years whereas you (suprise suprise) are getting so far ahead of yourselves after achieving SFA??
