How good do you think the lad can be.

I honestly think the kid can have a carrer like the great Steve Waugh. However i reckon he has the abilty of a Lara or Tenduka.

Feels good to be right about a player, when most others are sticking the boot in.

It seems like everyone on this board enjoyed bagigng Clarke.

I don't know why. Fantastic young cricketer. We should be getting behind him.

Imagion if he was English or Indian? He'd be worshipped like a God.

Great knock today, i've never doubted him, i never doubted marto either though so maybe its just me. Wonderful composure and the half aerial smashes seem to be gone from his game.

Yup, not one shot hit through the field in the air. He either went along the ground, or hit over the infield. Very smart cricket.

Panesar - highly rated spinner in white hot form
Harmison - Finally hit form
Flintoff - arugable the best quick in the world of late
Hoggard - had a good series taking lots of wickets

It's a good bowling attack.

How do you figure that given he hasn't played for quite a while due to his ankle injury and subsequent surgery?

Had an awesome series against Australia in the last Ashes, hasn't done that much with the ball since.

Monty rivals Vettori as the best left arm orthadox in the world.

'Of late' I ment more 2005 Ashes.

Even this series he has worked his bollocks off and looked good.

I only said 'highly rated' :)

TO be fair he carried on that form a little bit longer. He was the best pacer on either team in the first two tests against Pakistan in 05. Just a shame he was so over bowled that he started to break down.

I love watching him play. He seemed to really fire up when Gilly came to the crease... nearly had him caught behind point again.
