Bulldog Tony Liberatore's career is again in doubt, following claims from the Whitten Oval that the League has again victimised the veteran with a new rule that demands kicks travel at least 15 metres.

"It's a tough call for Libba," Bulldog coach Terry Wallace said. "Everybody knows that Libba can only kick the ball 12 or 13 metres, with the wind behind him, and his handballs won't go more than 10 metres.

"Luckily, we don't really expect Libba to actually get the ball, especially given all the weaponry he has to cart around the field, but the League could have thought this through a little better."

But League politburo chief Wayne Jackson said Libba would just have to try to come to terms with the rule change.

"We can't have one rule for Libba, and one rule for everybody else. Sure, we do have different rules if anybody tackles or king-hits Libba, when the umpires completely ignore the contact, compared to any of the other 600 odd players in the League. But as far as disposals go, we consider him to be just like everybody else."

Don't let CJH see this, Westy Boy, or we'll end up with a 10 page, point-by-point rebuttal, YAWN.
