Given that we delisted a mega 6 players, which do you think is most likely to be drafted back out of:

McGlone, Hunt, Thewlis, Meiklejohn, James and Rogers.

Since we are in need of midfielders and tall defenders, I think Meiklejohn and Rogers are definitely out of the question. I dont have much ideas of Hunt so i wont comment on him. I do think that Rogers has a lot of potential in the forward line for another club.

I'm pretty sure McGlone, Thewlis and James have a chance of being redrafted, although Thewlis reminds me of Warfe. Thoughts?

i don't think you will draft anyone back on to your main list.

Any reason as to why that is, just out of general interest ?

I'd say Thewlis would be the best out of the 6. Would be very disappointed if they re-drafted James.

McGlone for mine... not sure why he never got a game though.

Yeah i'd say scooter too. Played all the games in the reserves and had some outstanding performances. Also just found out that our rookie luke taylor also got delisted.

I'd say Thewlis will be re-drafted, he did play ahead of people such as Dempster.

Source for scooters form from sydneyswans.com.au player profiles.
Source for luke taylor being delisted, which is what i think u mean is from an afl.com.au article - http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=176928

suprised that Taylor wasn't announced with the rest of them

Thewlis is a chance to be re-drafted or rookied - i think someone on rwo may have mentioned that he has been invited back to training

I doubt that James will get another chance now, and the rest of them (mcGlone included) haven't got a snowflakes chance in hell

Yep - same as Caj said

Swans will probably look at picking up Thewlis again

James and Meiklejohn won't get picked up again

as for the rookies, I'm pretty sure the rules allowed for any of them to be retained, so if the Swans wanted to keep any of them for 2005 they would've done so

I guess we should look at the promising players that came out of the youngsters group in bevan, schneider, buchanan, mcveigh, ablett, LRT, with sunny and powell still on the way. Its a shame sunny got that injury when he did.
