Hi TAC cup gurus. I Just have a few inquiries about Prior ,I think his first name is Adam from the Bushrangers.
He seemed to get great press early in the the year in taking big amounts of marks and seemed to be kicking a few goals each week.
He hasn't been in any phantom drafts that i have seen. Is he elegible for this year? If so what are his short comings to not be mentioned at all.Thanks.

Prior has a few shortcomings notably his height. He is only 188cm and despite being tried in a number of spots he plays his best footy at CHF. Bulky build and could get bulkier and although he is eligible this year he is a bottom age player who can play TAC Cup next year. He hasn't got a huge engine but I witnessed the game first hand when he took 21 marks and it was one of the most awesome displays I have seen but that day the tallest opponent he had was 185cm. He has been stitched up a number of times by the 191cm plus tall defenders as the year wore on.

Jackson Barling Is A Better Chf!! I agree, and I think Barling is better up forward than down back where he played a lot of footy as well.
But Prior has next year in the TAC Cup as well if he's not drafted, so from that point of view he's in a far better position than Jackson Barling right at the moment I reckon.

Barling fixed Prior up this year as well.

Thanks for the info guys. If he is only 188 then he will proably struggle as a kpp, but i do like players that kick goals.

Agreed he was better there but doesn't look to have AFL potential in that position. When he played CHF he didn't take many marks, more relied on his mobility, tackling and persistance to create loose balls and create chances.
I think he is rookie-list calibre player. Reminds me a little of Andy Kellaway who also had to come up through VFL and supplementary list football.
