This guy is an absolute magician.
He is obviously a very good player to be picked at no.6.
Keep in mind if this guy can play AFL after only learning it 6 months prior. In another 6 months of intense training he will be an unbeliable player.
6 months of development = no.6 in the draft. an afl player.
Another 6 months of development = consistent player in the line-up
In a few years this guy will be an absolute champion of the AFL.
great pick up doggies !
(one safe pick -up (griffen) one risk) Awesome stuf scotty clayton

why do you say he will be a gun?, is that based on the how high he went?
he may well be but i'm worried that the reason he was picked was partly because he of his athletic ability. They guy has obvioulsy got a huge tank to finish second overall in the 3k at draft, especially for a big man. Daniel Bandy is probably a similarity, very fit and late to football.
I saw some footage of tom on fox footy last night, he was in the park, taking shots at goal, missed by a mile!
Tom Williams will be on SEN shortly. I cannot listen so hopefully others can.

He'll slot into our fwd line nicely then!
I'd say Tom Williams is probably the best forward on the Bulldogs list.

That's a ridiculously stupid thing to say about a guy who has barely touched the footy in his life. If we are lucky he'll make it in 3 years time and won't be seen at an AFL level at all next season. Hopefully the kid has got broad shoulders as the average fan won't want to wait for 3 year, ala T Walsh for some performance from a high draft pick.

He's only copying what i said about Chad Gibson on the Crows board. The sad thing is he doesn't even have the wits to use a little originality.

You would think taking Williams so high would be a risk, though you probably wouldn't have got him at your next pick.
