Sounds a little like P. Burger:
Kicking is a mixed bag for accuracy and hurt factor, and even under no external pressure. The problem is not his kicking per se. Not at all. It is his tendency to have tunnel vision on the run, finishing off his dash with a blind kick for distance downfield. He is otherwise a good kick. Problem should be relatively to fix (mindset) and I believe he will finish up a very reliable kick.

Gee a lot of things there I like
HURT FACTOR (Offensive/Defensive/Negative):
TRADEMARK:
Gather or receive through midfield then dash off hard for 30m then kick direct and for distance.
SUMMARY ASSESSMENT, RECOMMENDATION:
Good ball carrier. Loves a dash. Takes them on and runs the lines. That's what defines him. He is routinely a 70m player. If you saw the early Stuart Maxfield, you saw Eckerman.
Gets the majority of his possessions linking through space but also likes to charge through traffic. Definitely knows gets his own ball too and is quite good inside and at traffic, including centre bounce. Very good link man.
DISPOSAL
Very good by hand - very quick, accurate, high hurt factor, very good power.
DECISION-MAKING, SMARTS
Excellent evasion, even at top pace.
Good traffic management
HANDS
Quite good overhead. Clean and sure all other levels, even under the greatest of pressure.
INTENSITY, ETHIC
Attacks the ball
- Good 2nd efforts, smothers, etc.
- Courageous.
- Is always encouraging / urging-on team mates. Shows on-field leadership
Christ what's not to like about this kid.
Bye Bye Schoey, if Port even think about hanging on to Schofield when we have the likes of this young lad....not to mention Ebo, Surj, Sal, Dom, Grew there is something wrong!!
