Nathan Bracken....
Jaymin, since you're in the UK, do you mean 4 wickets, 7 runs or the vice versa?

Bracken is a fine bowler, but there are 4 or 5 better than him.

Bracken took 7/4... 7 wickets for 4 runs. 4/7 would mean 4 wickets for 7 runs.

Anyone who mentions runs before wickets is a ********ing tool.

just the rest of the world!

Any reason why we say 1 wicket for 0 runs, rather than the way every other country say it?

By the way, SA (meaning our cricket side) suck.

He must have had the in swingers (to RH) really going today... bit like the ODI matches in India when he starred.

Last time i saw Nathan Bracken he was bowling left arm shot putters at about 120 km per hour. He is an absoulute cat of the highest and should never play test cricket again. These figures merely underline that there is some severe problems with the depth of Australian cricket.

When Bevan is averaging over a 100 and Bracken is doing this you have to wonder whether the Pura Cup is all that is cracked up to be.

And we luagh at County Cricket. Pura Cup is the joke.

wickets always before runs in bowling figures.

7/4 = 7 wickets for 4 runs.

the times that we see it the other way is in overseas matches and when they are talking about a teams batting score.

230/4 etc.

I would like to see you bat as consistently as Bevan has over his whole career.

Best first class competition in the world by some distance. Period. If you had seen ANY County Cricket you would agree.

Bevan is world class and in any other country in the world would have played 10+ years of test cricket.

I agree that Bracken isn't the best Aussie paceman around, but he just had one of those days. I think this is more of a reflection of SA cricket depth that Australian cricket depth.

So Australia is the only country that isn't full of tools? The reason I asked is because at the time I was asking the question - and this bloke is based in the UK, which is why he might have done it the other way round, anyway:

Did anyone else catch the interview with Bracken on Sports Tonight yesterday? The NSW media has milked all they can to get him back in the team - ST never have interviews!
