Seems to be another O.C. clone; but yet another promising series.

Yeah, I've seen both episodes and I quite enjoyed it.

Love the Basketball theme - even though the rings in the show are probably no more than 9 feet high (they should be 10 feet, which is standard). But that's just me being picky! :D

Good show, I'll definitely watch again this week!

I was thinking that.

If the ring is proper size that kids can acutully play basketball, of the very least got a great leap / abilty to dunk.

In my opinion it goes, Peyton's friend, Haley, then Peyton, though I like Haley's character's personality. Can't believe I said that....

And yes, One Tree is very cheesy, full of those scenes that end with one character walking away, before the other calls out their name, and says something 'meaningful' (but which is really rather pointless), and then that person continues out of shot, followed by a closeup of the remaining individual. Yet, I love these shows and I'm am hooked here once again.

The basketball angle definitely keeps me interested, though the actual bball scenes aren't in the league of Hoosiers, Blue Chips or Space Jam. A couple of them may have good shots, but their overall game is lacking and highly exaggerated....still, I guess I'm not watching these programs for the realism

I know its not that good a show, but for some reason I'm drawn to watching it. Maybe its because of AFL star Lucas Scott (the bombers player) that features on there ;). It kills the OC, man what a cheesy but sometimes watchable show.

Hoosiers - best basketball program (tv/movie) ever. Love that movie - bought it on DVD a few months back for about $15 - great buy.

Hayley > Payton for me, but each to their own.

I hated Dawson's Creek with a passion, so I hope Lucas & Haley doesn't fall into another one of those "childhood-friends-turn-lovers" categories.

I'd like to see Lucas brush off Peyton and hook up with Brooke (Sophia Bush). I hear those two are engaged in real life. :)

I think they were high-school sweethearts, a few episodes ago they played a tape showing them at their prom. The only question is what's the age difference between Lucas and Nathan? Did Dan knock up both women at the same time and had to choose?

And its so bloody obvious that Hayley's going to end up with Nathan, and Lucas with Peyton, but its going to drive Lucas wild that he can't have Hayley too.

Maybe not. He left town when he found out Karen was pregnant, and when he returned he had another kid (Nathan). So he could have banged Nathan's mum (who is a milf btw) about 6 months after leaving town. And that would make sense I think.

Yeah, I've gotta say - I prefer the episodes that feature an actual game, as opposed to the other night. I didn't understand why Lucas and Payton didn't "get together" when they were in the bedroom the first time - what did he say that freaked her out and made her leave?

And how corny was that game of "truth or dare"? Since when does one person stand in the middle and tell everyone what to do? That was so cheesy.

I can't stand Brooke.

I think it was because they both said they'd wanted this for a long time, however Peyton was just talking about having sex, while Lucas was meaning 'all of it', such as her heart, a relationship, as well as her body.

In true television style, this of course freaked Peyton out. Well, that's how I read it anyway.

Both the tv week and midweek guide say OTH should be on, plus I've seen the ads for it all week.
