I'd like a bit of a comment about two Tassie boys who i had a bit to do with their development, Luke Faulkner and Luke Crane. I have noticed thay got a few mentions in the paper etc.

Did,nt see much of Faulkner , but Crane really impressed me the times i saw him play , looked a class above.

any name signings at any clubs for next year? with some profile coaches(mclean, obrien) you think they might be able to attract some good players.

I have'nt heard of any signings as yet , but there are some big names coaching this year.

I know hes not really a new signing but hopefully David Round will be able to play for Broadbeach after his year off through injury.

Northern Eagles will apparently be known as the Zillmere Eagles after being taken over by Kedron Wavell RSL. Don't know if "taken over" is the right term. Not sure of the full details.Will wear blue and yellow next season.
