Channel 9- Cricket

Does is annoy you that when Australia played New Zealand 2nd ODI. There was one over left, but yet they still went to the news, even after Lee and Hogg where entertaining. I get sick of Channel 9 doing that. Did anyone in Melbourne, feel enraged about that. And its not only that..... but they also didnt show us the start of New zealand's innings. I also remeber when gilchrist was smashing them all over the place a couple of years ago they didnt even show that on the tv. my dad was more angry than me and rang up channel 9 and abused them. Whats your thoughts?

what would it take to bowl, an average over..... 2 minutes?? And they cut it off. And when they show it again it is already 7 overs into the other teams batting overs and you miss fallen wickets, runs scored. Unbelievable!!

Channel 9 really need to get there act together. They either have the cricket and show it in its entirety- and that is showing every ball and not missing play because of the news, a current affair and, heaven forbid, the price is right (warne equalling the world record). I really am disgusted at channel 9 and I think cricket australia should demand they show the coverage in full and re-arrange their other programs like the news for the lunch or tea breaks (A Current Affair can have a night off when the cricket is on). If they are not willing to do this, the cricket should be given to another station willing to do this, and if none are, it should be given to foxtel.

I too am sick of ch 9 cutting off the cricket so they can go to the news !
I then ( i hope along with every cricket fan ) turn ch 9 news off, and go to another news service.
But it might help a little with Melbourne and Sydney tests starting at
10.30 am with stumps at 5.30pm and play cannot exceed 6.00pm , any
overs still remaining will be lost.
But knowing ch 9 they will find a way of cutting the telecast won't they.

You are exactly right. The tea break goes for 20 minutes...... and there is the lunch break and everything, they should do the current affairs and everything then. And with the drinks breaks. Instead of saying "this drinks break is brought to you by solo................etc" after showing 50 ads, they should have news updates, keep people happy. Im disgusted aout Channel 9.
