The 61st Annual General Meeting of the Glenorchy District Football Club was held in the Clubrooms on 15 December 2004.
The Oasis Glenorchy Magpies may have fallen one step short of a grand final appearance after losing to Clarence in the preliminary final, but the club can take some comfort with yet another outstanding result off the ground.
The Magpies have recorded an operating profit of $71,799 for 2004, which follows profits of $61,000 in 2002 and $67,000 in 2003.
Club general manager Shayne Stevenson said the club was justifiably proud of the result.
"We have come a long, long way over the past four years and our financial position has developed from one that could be described as fragile at best, to a position of strength," he said.
A Certificate of Service was awarded to Pam Cooper for her outstanding contribution.
Steve Allie was appointed President and Robert Beakley was appointed Patron of the Club.
The Board for 2005 comprises:
Steve Allie President
Tony Knight Treasurer
Leigh McAdam Secretary
Colin Gardner Director
William Craig Director
Leon DeJersey Director
Brian Hughes Director
Don Coetzee Director
