to be fair that sounds ok , i half expected him to come out with something smug but that statement seems reasonably humble.

Just some quick info gleaned...
Around 13000 voted....65%, with 35% who couldnt give a stuff.
Not surprisingly Miller recieved the highest level of voter support around *8500 followed by Casey. No breakdown of all numbers yet but the result is a poor outcome for the alternatite ticket, not even being able to secure at least 1 seat.
The 9th placed elected board member recieved around 7000, with brian wood the leading alternate only recieving 6000.
After the result Miller seem fairly guarded about whether he would serve out his full term. Maybe the hread floating around earlier during the week suggesting he might step aside for Hunt might yet have some substance.
sheahan made a one line comment abt miller steps aside for hunt, further proof the hun read bigfooty :D

I wouldn't say they are damning for the alternative. 9 zip equates to damning for me, regardless of the actual numbers that voted for each individual.
thank ...k that is over , IMO , the best result , even though i will admit that the result is a little tainted by Miller`s stance . But that is politics .I think the sooner he stands down and hands his seat to Rex the better . An overwhelming endorsement for GM though
Be interested to hear some views and thoughts of some of the vocal , pro Macek\Schwab people ! Where does this leave you guys ?

Considering Casey got over 25% more votes than Macek, its pretty bad

I cant believe that as no hoper like Anthony Mitthen got the 2nd most votes. Just shows that this is a personality contest and not a contest based on talent, experience or merit.

I expected Mithen to be arund the "just on, just out" area, but him getting the 2nd most aomunt of votes is weird!
LMFAO @ Schwab getting 3rd least votes in his ticket!!
I'm really suprised at Dalton & O'Shannassy getting the lowest votes of the incumbents
I would have thought March & Cameron would have been to the point of potentially missing out

personality contest?
If anything it was the Alternative who had no talent or experience
they deserved what they got and as for Pahoff, I hope that loser goes sticks his head into the sand from this result
LOL @ personality contest !!!!
if that was the case then Casey would be sitting on the bottom.
Alternative got what they deserved by getting our past players into the debate, it failed they lost
worthy result, now the RFC can go back to what is important, getting results on the field with Wallace on board for 5 years.
cant wait.

TW hasn't done much yet? What drugs are you on, he has already stated a new gameplan and drafted kids and experienced players such as, Knobel and Simmonds who he has said are players he believes will help us to a premiership in a few years. TW has given us the feedback we want and if things are not terrific next year we cannot blame him as we are going to be very young and everyone needs to adjust to the gameplan. He has slready made positional moves such as Campbell to FP and Chaffey to Tag which could be major moves for us to improve next year.

No drugs at the minute buddy. We had 5 picks in the top 20, in reality anyone could have drafted some decent kids. Many see getting Knoble as a mistake, but thats a differnt issue. It doesnt really matter what he beleives... Spud beleived he could take the club places as well.
Chaffy moving to the tag could be a good move, Cambpell to the square etc. also. But round 1 hasnt started yet... Im not baggin him, we got the best coach we avalible. Bit eariy to be building him up thou eh?

The Hawks have stuffed up in drafts eg. this year with Tambo and Judd a few years back
It is early to build him up but we have had too many bad years and finally our future looks good so we are excited and getting pumped up.
