Not sure which board this thread belonged, so it's going here.

I'm going to be coaching under 15's next season. It's my first gig as a coach and I'm wondering if anyone else is a coach out there and can lend some advice.

I'm not concerned about my knowledge that I can impart, more the tricks of the trade, motivating players, disciplining etc, etc.

Cheers

Gadj ! I reckon the key is that you are always prepared be it at training and game day. Show respect towards each of the kids and what stage of development they are at. Don't listen to all the parents as they will always love you one week and loathe you the next ! Avoid showing any bias towards a particular player or group as it can have a determental affect on the rest of the boys. Above enjoy yourself because its a thankless task a lot of the time and you only get what you put in.

Good Luck
