Swans achieve $2m turnaround
THE Sydney Swans have produced a remarkable financial turnaround.
Swans chairman Richard Colless yesterday announced the club had returned a 2004 net profit of almost $900,000.
This represents an improvement of more than $2 million after its 2003 $1.4 million loss.
But best of all;
"The club has experienced some significant growth in revenues in the past 12 months," Baron-Hay said.
"Our sponsorship revenue is up 19 per cent and our membership base has increased by 14 per cent.
"We now have around 26,000 members.
