Well the tribunal decision has finally been handed down and I can tell everyone that 22 players have been suspended for a total of 400 matches after the brawl.
Jason Lamb got 5 years and Tyson Lane got 2 years.

Is that a result of the AFL Cairns Grand Final riot?
I guess old Tyson Lane is back in retirement now.

I notice former Launceston Raiders & Devonport Power player from TFL days, Ken Rainsford copped a year for his actions in that match.
He was a complete berk when he was playing here.

Yeah Jack Love instructed his players to run and king hit the direct opposing player from Port Douglas as soon as the anthem was finished. The league aren't finished with him yet,should have got 10 years for his trouble,toothless fat coward scumbag! Got rolled in 2nd semi and thought their only chance was too take out key opposing players before the first bounce in GF. Only up there coaching cos he got into so much trouble off the ground in Melbourne and had to get away. Game was declared a no result and there will be no premiers in the North Queensland League for season 2004. North Cairns may as well fold as they'll be remembered for nothing else from now on!

Quite right. Ken Rainsford left Tassie with the police after him for assult.
He has also been in trouble in QLD on drug charges. He is on a good behaivour bond. He should be locked up at the local dog pound. That is what he is.

I live in cairns and Im playing for the manunda hawks this season. Im not sure if the nrth cairns tigers will have a team maybe they can use the reserve team. Although i didnt see the game there was a helluva lot of news about it. I think its pathetic that jack love had no strategy to win, only to try and beat the crap outta them before the game. Its just wrong and another thing he forgot..its just a game! Yeah you can take it seriously but not to that extent.

Unfortunately too many people these days are taking sport way too seriously. Have a look at what happened in the NBA.
