Will any of the guys yet to play a game (Birss and Hargrave in particular) crack it for a debut in the next fortnight?

I would love to see them both given a taste. Would be a big boost going into next season with a game or two under their belts. Especially Hargrave who will be going into his third year.

If we lose tomorrow, our year is finished. Nothing to lose, then. Throw the youngsters in, but until then lets keep the Hudsons and his ilk in the side.

Both should play bfore the end of the year. How must Hargrave feel. He is named on the extended bench one week with the good oil saying he would play, then the next week he is back in the twos.

And another thing. Why would you promote Fuller onto the senior list and then not play him? Why wouldnt he get a game ahead of Hudson on current form? Why was Hudson named in the Werribee team and didn't play?

I have been trying to work out the Fuller thing since he was promoted. I can't think of any benefit of having him on the list if not to give him a game.

sig,

Ive said somewhere else that they both should be given a taste of AFL footy before the seasoons out, why not got nothing to lose now its all or nothing. Birss has to get a game soon hes been the most consistent player at Werribee and same goes for Hargrave.

Topdog,

Totally agree with you. And wasn't Birrs impressive vs Box Hill, as was Gilbee. I thought that the two of them had man-of-the-match wrapped up between them. Is at a Cleary-led ABC conspiracy to stop any AFL listed player from getting the best-on-ground award?????

I think it may be due to their bigger wages WWB. I think it makes sense.
