last night i happened to flick over to ch10 about 10.30pm and saw those panel arse clowns dressed up in togas and putting on some sort of 'comedy' skit.
it was lame, it was purile, it was cringe worthy, it was embaressing.
does that stich guy really think he's funny?? because someon should tell him he's an arse clown, give him a good kick in the bollocks and a slap around the head.
last night i believe i witnessed the lowest point aussie tv has ever sunk to, it couldn't get any worse than this, even big brother looks like quality tv compared to that dribble.
here's an example; some dweeb knocks on a 'door' and enters the room where santo says 'dont knock so loud'.....dweeb replies, 'i come from the school of hard knocks'.
comedy doesn't get any better than that!!!

Well, looks like you've missed out on Santa bringing you a sense of humour for another year. Never mind, maybe next year...
With a name like hairyskrotum this fella is obviously an authority on comedy.
The bit where Anthony Callea was Jesus had me in stitches.

Just change the frigging channel if you don't like what's on.
It's not that hard.
But then you'd have nothing to bitch about.
Geez, it was just light-hearted comedy that wasn't even taken seriously by anyone participating... unlike those knobs on Rove with a similar sketch segment.
I suppose you think getting the lady out of the audience to dance was unprofessional?

I thought the actual Panel show throughout was hilarious but i agree the skit at the end made little sense and wasnt very funny or well thought out.

I agree. Generally, it was pretty good, but the end was a bit lame. It came across as a dodgy dress rehearsal, rather than the thing they had last year which was actually pretty funny. And the return of Graham and the Colonel only prompted the sounds of silence from the studio audience.
On the plus side, I thought their take off of David and Margaret was quite funny, as was The Panel DVD ad.
And anyway, it was the only thing worth watching on Christmas night.

Sometimes a show can put in something lame and you can laugh with it because, well, you like the people on there and they aren't taking it seriously.
Other times you just want them to stop and even, EVEN bring back Doug Mulray rather than put the viewers through this...
Gee, I have to say the last religous skit was bordering on something as lame as a Rove skit IMO. I love the panel and most of that night it was good. That last one just was put together s***

I suspect the Panel was unfunny as per usual, but would have happily swapped it for DanceSports. Was at the in-laws and this is what the man of the house was watching - punces flitting around in a dancing competition. The whole time thoughts such as "who tf watches this?", and "this is totally f'ing gay", and "Gee, the Panel would be damn good right now. Would even be happy to crack a laugh at it".

People still watch 'The Panel'?
I can't stand any of these panel shows.
Who the hell wants to watch a bunch of so-called clever d***s marvel at their own 'wit.'

My only question is, since when can guests post?
The Panel is sliding, no doubt. Not as funny as it was in '97-'98. And if you were doing nothing on Christmas night, it was worth having on. I had it on the background and wasn't paying attention so can't comment on the scene.
