Might as well post the same here as I posted on the "official" forum and BulldogsUnleashed :
What a tremendous effort by the entire team to win it for Chris! The joy when the final siren sounded could be felt all the way to here! It was great being able to hear the club song being played at the MCG after the match. Did you hear me singing it with you???
Fantastic effort by the young players, especially Guido!
Our future is INDEED bright! :D

C1 spot on it was terrific, wasnt Alvey great and just shows you when you give the kid a go what he can do....but no doubt Wally will drop him next week ;). My boy Murf was great, how good are his skills and his awareness is awesome. Guido was electric with 2 goals and 20odd clean disoposals. Futures bright indeed :D
God damn The Ponsford stand was wild during the match :( but i loved every minute of it.
Overall a job well done :D :) :p

What an effort, C1! Chrissy's stats didn't look all that flash at half, or even 3/4 time, but stats don't tell the whole story. This was one of his best games, with heaps of taps, contested marks, tackles, etc.
In that last quarter he just exploded. All class. His four-goal tally may have been eight, such was his leadership and influence. And you are right, the future is indeed bright.
It will be great to catch you when you get back. I think a homecoming welcome at the airport will be in order from all at the BigFooty site. Let us know what flight you are due in on!

B1,
My brother-in-law forgot to bring his digital camera over today so I could post my pic with Jordan in full Doggie gear. Maybe next weekend!
Might return earlier than I had planned. My dad gets out of the nursing home after a three month rotating stay between there and hospital, so It'll depend on how he goes in the next few weeks. I checked air fares and if I wait until January it'll be a few hundred dollars more since it's peak period. Possibly could be in October or November if things go well. I wouldn't mind leaving here before winter sets in. Anyway, I'll let y'all know so we can meet up at the Whitten Oval. I can't wait to begin losing my money on the pokies again! ( Of course, if I win big in Vegas next month, I might decide to stay!..... Yeah, sure!)
