With Port Adelaide's abundance of genuine Ruckmen who do you think is the most likely to be traded?

I honestly hope they dont trade any of them!! Why would they want to....its not often you get a big group of talented ruckmen like the group we have at Alberton. We have probably the best and largest group of ruckmen in the league.
If i was to trade any ruckmen it would be Barny French because he is older than Brogan and Ackland and not as good as Lade or Primus.
Id hate to see any of them go. Primus in the ruck...Lade at full forward, Ackland at CHF with Tredrea and Frenchy on teh bench...Brogan as a backup for whoever would get injured (which is bound to happen at some time)
We shouldnt trade any of them in my opinion.

Yes, the fact that we've used them all at some stage this year shows that you have to make contingencies for injuries - we even had to call Dean Brogan up from the rookie list. Because of this ruck depth we were able to cover the couple of games Matty Primus missed, where all the doomsayers were saying we would be stuffed without him.
If most of them stay fit it means two or three aren't getting a game, but Ladey and Cain are both flexible enough to play elsewhere other than ruck.
Look, even after our shocking year in 2000 we didn't do much delisting or trading, so it might not be much different again this year. There's a few others on the list who could be used for trades, like Harwood, Bishop, Bassett and Lockwood.

Macca, what are you on? If Ackland takes Tredrea's place at CHF I will personally burn down Mark Williams' house.
Brogan is the one most at risk because he's in his 20's and his skill level is down compared to the other guys. I would be offering Brogan, D Murray (can't play) and either Lockwood/Harwood in a package for a star tall defender. We need someone next year to ease Meady into retirement because I think he's starting to slow down.

i didnt write it properly...Acjland and Tredrea could BOTH play at Half forward, with French on the bench...i didnt mean replace tredrea with Ackland. Ackland and Tredrea at Half Forward would be great i reckon...similar to Hird and Lucas at Essendon.
If Williams moves Tredrea from CHF and puts just Ackland there i will supply the match and petrol for you to burn down Mark Williams house
At this stage I would keep all of them only for one reason. At this stage we don't know how Brendan Lade will recover for his leg injury. Who's to say Lade will come back as good a player as he was before he broke his leg or even worse who's to say he won't break it again.
But if we had to trade one I would say Brogan. I agree with Santos, Brogan's skill level isn't as good as the other guys. I think Ackland still has youth on his side and he is also capable of playing up foward and I would keep French basically because out of the 5 I think he is the only one who is capable of playing in defense.
Trade them ALL I say and replace them with Trent Ormand-Allen clones ;)
We would have the fastest ruck brigade in the comp.

I wouldnt be hasty to trade any of them unless we could get something pretty good.
We haven't had an overabundance of ruckmen this year, they have all had to play at stages.
I think the problem will be if one of them wants to leave for more oppurtunity. In that case, you trade the guy who doesnt want to be there.
